Man, I wish he could have been Leach's QB for us the way Mike intended.
We'd have probably made one of those expanded playoffs, or been damn close.
It really is a well done article. Takes me back to the days of really great sportswriting.
Baylor friends of mine love Sawyer. I wish we could have seen more of him. But he seems to be doing well. I wish the best for him.

Good article, but Scotty couldn’t seem to master the idea that he is throwing to the receiver in maroon and white (and sometimes black). He threw interceptions. Will Rogers threw to the opposition much less than Robertson, therefore he started. I consider Will to be Leach’s last qb. I realize that some will get hives as I say that, and you will make rude replies to me, hating’ like a ***** boy, but it is what it is. Nuff said.
I remember being pumped after Sawyer Robertson got on campus and heard he was doing windmill dunks on the basketball court. Seemed like a cool dude.
