Yes they are winnable. But how good have we proven to win the games we consider winnable? We always struggle to beat teams while they are down besides USCjr. And Missouri and Vanderbilt 1 time each.

Bingo. These "garbage" games were winnable last year. And the year before. And the year before that one. And we did nothing with them. Until they prove otherwise these "garbage predictions" are simply rational expectations.
