Kemp ( or as important in know also went down) and Landon young. Ware was limping after game also. This late in season everyone is hurting somewhat.

Send some prayers to Michael Scherer. Mizzou is reporting the young man suffered a career ending torn ACL and MCL.

I believe so. Here are the ones that remain in question as far as I know.

Jason Reese TE left MTSU with injury to ribs
John Gibson CB left MTSU with knee injury
Nate Brown WR left MTSU with ankle injury

I'm reluctant to post this stuff because in no way do I want the perception to be that I'm happy about the injuries. Quite the contrary. I want all these players to have long successful stays at their schools and, if able, go on to play pro ball.

I think Stoops tells the defense if you get tired, just go down.

Not a bad strategy honestly. Could come in handy this weeke against Methssouri who leads the nation in tempo and plays.

Nothing like a little gamesmanship by Stoops and co to slow down their tempo.

Looks like Missouri is going through a defensive crisis like we did earlier this season. Head Coach Barry Odom is going to be "move involved with the defense" calling the plays this week.

I sure hate it for this young man. I do not want to see any of them get injured; especially one that ends their football career. Prayers are sent.

Hate to hear that Scherer's career is over. Also hate to hear that Odom is going to be more involved with the defense this week.

Terry Beckner Jr looks to be out Saturday too. He would be a big pass rushing loss for Mizz.

They would still have their star DE Harris, but losing Scherer and Beckner will be huge for them. Not an expert, but I would think that if UK is running the ball up the middle Harris would not be nearly as effective.

Harris hasn't been the same Harris of last year due to other departures. Teams have been able to double or at least give him more attention and it has neutralized him somewhat.

LB injuries are getting a bit worrisome. You could have left off from Horton on down as they either haven't played this season or we have played enough without them.

We need to come out and hit this team in the mouth early and control the TOP game..this is a Mizzou team that is angry, embarrassed, and desperate for a win..that's a bad combo..we need to come out and play our A game..anything less and we come out of there with a loss..we have to control this game with solid defense and a solid running game so that we can put Johnson in some comfortable positions where he won't be forcing many throws into tight windows or doing too much and causing turnovers..turnovers are the X factor and can be absolutely killer in a game like this where we're on the road playing a desperate team that has playmakers all over the place and can score points in bunches

If he has a full recovery, he could potentially play in the NFL. Before the injury, he was probably a late round prospect.

Mizzou D gave up 40 plus points in 3 straight GMs coming in to the UK gm.
Now take away their best defensive player ...
UK is going to run all over them.

Mizu's depth chart for the Kentucky game updated on 25 Oct. shows Reese second string and Brown off the depth chart. Scherer and Gibson are listed as first string. Either someone is blowing massive amounts of smoke or there has been Faith healing going at Mizu.
