Can't win against even a decent team with this offense. Desperately need a passing threat

What about a reverse, or option or something besides running it up the middle...man

We are very predictable. BUT that Vandy defense is pretty darn good. It is not easy to run the ball against that D without a passing game. We do need to mix it up a little more though. Maybe give the ball to the jet motion guy one in a while or roll out Johnson more. He seems more effective when we give him an easy out wih his legs. Anything in the pocket is a waste of time

Because without Barker we don't have anyone that can complete a pass. Johnson has about an equal chance of throwing the ball to a defender as he does one of our receivers.

That's the thing. When you run the ball successfully 7 straight plays, THEN fake the run (which we rarely do) then there'll be an open man somewhere. That's how football is played. Make the other team expect something then catch them off balance by doing something else. Regardless of the QBs throwing ability no matter who it is should be able to hit an open man. Which is why play action after 7 successful runs is a genius and obvious play call.
