They can score f*cking points. We get into this line of thinking that because they play hellacious D they suck on O, but that's not the case.

I think Bama leads the SEC in defense and offense.

Auburn and SC after seeing that stat. How'd we play so bad against Auburn on D? Why couldn't we manage more points against the Cocks? The stat also indicates that score comparing doesn't mean much sometimes either.

I've also noticed that since we complained about them listening in on our plays that all of a sudden Gus Mahlzahn isn't as much of a genius as he once was.

At the same time, I've also noticed that our defense has magically gotten a lot better somehow.

That was the most plain jane vanilla offense I've ever seen. They weren't about to let J. Lee get them beat. And the way their OL and DL was absolutely dominating the LOS, they had no reason to open the playbook beyond the chapter on 8th grade JV squad plays. So, that stat is completely meaningless.
