how has he looked in practice and scrimmage? Do y’all think he will be an adequate replacement for Micah Nelson?

He will do fine this season, very mobile and has a cannon, all he needs is reps in my opinion.
Yeah, I’m from Bonney lake and moved to murphy with my wife, it’s a nice place to live.
He's got some areas to work on like all young QB's, mainly consistency, getting the ball out quicker and decision making. But those things will all improve with more experience and reps.
He's definitely on the right track though and he has the physical tools: big arm and can really run. He's going to be a big time player for Murphy down the road.
The biggest thing I like is that he seems to perform his best when it matters. By that I mean he's looked better in game situations (scrimmages) than practice, kid is a gamer.
