My Pre-Season Write Up's are Coming..

My Summer 2019 pre-season predictions for the 3 area conferences will be up by next weekend.. I can't say when right now because I'm juggling 20 things at the moment but I have the base write ups for the conferences done. I just gotta add the bells and whistles enough to tickle some fancies. That was a bad attempt at high school grammar, forgive me.

I can say right now it's like walking in the dark against the wind but it makes previews fun because there is a lot of parity and unknowns.. someone's going to get offended or have egg on their heads. Like the men's warehouse guy said: "I Guarantee it."

That being said if you all wanna put your predictions for each conference here you can.. I might go back to my old school math days and make a nice graph or two for your effort. I do value audience participation ya know..

I’m the MVC it’s going to be some combination of Ashe, Starmount, or W Central in my opinion. I know that’s going to piss Ram Fan off but from everything I’ve heard, Ashe should be reloading, and Wilkes should be much improved with players returning that didn’t play last year and others. Starmount has a lot coming back from a team that made the Western Final. Parity makes this conference interesting though I’m hoping the Elks can sneak in there and make it even more interesting.

Very courageous NW prediction.. don't see Bishop that high.. Prep going 0-ffer with that DE and QB being hyped up's bold. I like it!

I actually thing North Stokes could go 3-2. WS Prep will be better than South Stokes & Bishop.

They've gotten a kid or 2 from North Forsyth that will help them a lot with #'s. They got the Lyons kid from NF and are putting him at Corner. He will help them a lot imo, the kid's small but he's a gamer. He gave us fits in the opener last year and can catch a ball.

Prep has all the speed and tools to get #3 easily but they gotta become physical.. South's outhit them the past 2 years. That's the only reason why they beat Prep, Prep passed for over 400 yards on them and still lost in 2017. No excuse for that besides lack of physicality.

I actually thing North Stokes could go 3-2. WS Prep will be better than South Stokes & Bishop.

I can see that.. if they have a solid bit of success in the non conference slate they can do well come later in the year. Their biggest issue's the lack of success.. they gotta figure out how to handle it and handle winning. More than likely they will beat South Davidson week 1 so that will have them feeling good. Where they go from there is up to them.

10th and 12th grades have quite a few players, junior class is really low. If they can overcome that and stay healthy I expect them to roll. I'm excited for them.

What about preps game with Bishop? Shut out and Bishop was more physical and negated their offensive and 1 defensive weapon. It will still be a challenge.

I agree with your last post. Honest question... why do they not have success when they have the best athletes on the field in the majority of their conference games?

Apologize for the delay folks.. life's been really hectic on my end the last month and a half due to job stuff. I got the write up's done I'm just in the editing stages. I'm gonna try my hardest to make sure my season stuff's done like I did the last 2 years.. it's just been harder than usual this year.

I'm not going anywhere though.. don't worry.

I for one understand that with all the new coaches and new players moving up it has to take a lot of time covering 3 conferences. You do a great job so take all the time you need because I know it has to take a lot of time and research..

Slash I'm calm .....it just came across to me as arrogance to start a thread to say your gonna start a thread(but I'm sure I took it the wrong way)... u do a good job....it's hard to find legit info about the Mvac these days so I especially appreciate your input on that conference.
