Naz played like absolute garbage for about 45 mins but refused to die.
Naz got inspired by the LZ students’ very premature OVERRATED chant. No emotion before that. Thanks LZ fans!!
Thats the one thing I think you can pretty much always say about a Naz team.
Kudos to LZ for putting them to the wire. While I didn't watch live obviously sure sounds like a game where the less complete performance stole one... Gotta be a bitter way to go out for their Seniors.

One for the ages. Naz had no business winning that game down by 11 with 3 mins left. Not sure what happened to their passing game bc it was nonexistent up until the last 3 mins. Naz D holds LZ scoreless in the 2nd half. If the offense plays like that next week and they’ll get crushed by Fenwick.

He’s actually right though, Naz is a family not a community.
His team was better for 45 minutes they just didn’t play a full 48. Nothing to do with community.
Naz gave him every opportunity imaginable to get to the semis. Short fields galore. LZ should have put that game away sooo many times and Planz failed to do so. I guess his lame excuses are meant to cover for his poor coaching.

Naz is either overrated or LZ is underrated. I mean LZ isn't even in Edgys top 30. Team that has held Fremd and Naz to their lowest points of the season might deserve to be ranked?
I think LZ is a good football team. I also think two truths can exist at the same time. LZ is a good football team and Naz did not play anywhere close to their brand of football for 45 minutes.

Im trying to remember, did LZ miss 2 FGs? Both were longish but had the distance, but were wide?

Were a number of short fields the result of unsuccessful fake punts? What was up with that?
Yeah they missed 2 FG’s in the 2nd half, due in large part to not converting fake punts and turnover on downs. Naz was just struggling to get something going in the 2nd half and it wasn’t going anywhere.
Evanston, Barrington, Palatine, and Bolingbrook held Fremd to less points. Hoffman and New Trier held them to the same total.
Okay so what you’re saying is on any given day Naz is competitive or better with multiple 8A quarter finalists. Thanks for the compliment!
