Looks about perfect, even though I think 8 could trample everybody but 1 and 3.

3 Can trample everybody but 8 and 1.

5 is the darkhorse. If they master the spread passing attack by November watch out!

I dont see how Mt Heritage could be any better than they were last year.

I said the same thing last year since they lost the QB from the year before.

What matters is Shelby lost. Reidsville and Northeastern deserves 1,2. Guess your record shouldn't count. And you got blown out. What was the final 42 - 17?

Defensively, we’re quite a bit better. We were very young at a few positions defensively last year and we’ve had some people playing behind some very experienced people from the past that have answered the bell with their numbers being called this year. Offensively, not quite a good as last years team but showing improvement, weekly. The thing that has benefitted this group the most is another year in coach Robinson’s conditioning program.

I actually agree with the poll, if you read my post... hence the word BUT BUT they lost. Furthermore I said the poll was perfect. Read for CONTENT and NOT CONTENTION. You continue to want ot force me into being a Shelby fan and ended up exposing yourself.:D Maybe you can blame your Eastern NC rural education for that.:cool:

A run first version of the spread. It’s worked quite well for Coach Robinson for the past 10 years or so. He’s produced a couple of 3000 yds rushers (Casey Randolph in ‘09 and Trey Robinson in ‘17) in one season and I think they set a state team rushing record in ‘09. I think is was just over 6200 yds rushing for the season in ‘09. It may have been broken since then but at the time it was the record.

I wouldn't be surprised if they became the Buffalo Bills of 2A in the near future. Going to the championship game a few times in a row and going home with the L. Wake Forest was like that a long time but they got a couple. Unless Reidsville falls off really soon and one of those mountain schools make it, then they might get one.

That said, I'm quietly pulling for them.

To answer your question Reidsville won’t fall off anytime soon. Their middle school football team is unbelievable. Full of size and and skill players. Reidsville Will dominate for at least the next 5 years guaranteed. Not saying they will win states every year but they will be in the mix.

You seem to forget Chopper losing a game isnt the be all end all for me.. Im just a fan

Im not one to boast, get ticked because we lose, etc etc etc.... Sometimes you get your teeth kicked in like in the video recap above
but the sun still comes up the next day so I dont fret over it...

Well in your case its sometimes you get your dentures kicked in, but I digress :)

I actually think Hibriten's first game loss was good for the team. Seemed to teach them a lot about playing like as a group not individually.. Sometimes its just your time.. .. Really dont see this as a setback for shelby at all, as long as they play like they can, easily 4 rounds at home in playoffs,, its everybody else playing catch up now...

On another note, I wonder when is #5 Hibriten supposed to go back to 3A. They've been playing in the JV leagues for a while now with all those numbers.:cool:

Chill, Chopper. I’ve been on this site long enough to know that your team is the Pasquotank County Panthers, and you give them no acknowledgment whatsoever on here, you just troll everyone else and their teams on here. I rep Shelby, unconditionally.

He couldn't spell Pasquotank, so that is the real reason he doesn't acknowledge any affiliation with them at this point

He was on the Pasquotank Croquet team as a youngster, they came in third place out of three teams at the Fort Caswell Collective Croquet tournament in 1936

He proudly displays the picture of himself in the "we're #3" foam finger on his wall, and gleefully stares at it from his basement computer lab...

He now spends his days, telling 1a and 2 a teams that they are the Junior Varsity, whilst Puddles his hairless cat sits upon his lap licking the coagulated
peanut butter crust from between his fingers...

Now you all know :)
