New NFL recommendations, could they start a trickle down to HS ?

ESPN is reporting that the NFL has recommended that teams avoid high intensity drills such as Oklahoma. This is part of their effort to reduce concussions. Will this be passed down to places such as HS and youth league football? Some will say it will hurt the game, but if we make football safer will not more parents allow their children to play? I just want to hear some opinions.

The way its going we will all be playing flag football before long.
