He didn't but OTOH how much was he allowed to do? I think his flirtation with the G-League was a huge indicator of his frustration with the recent Sh*t Show. He came from a high level program to a dumpster fire. I wish him the best in resurrecting his career.
False report, but I expect him to find a home soon. He was done extremely wrong by KP.
wasn't he supposedly behind some leak hoping to get kp fired before xmas? wasn't he supposed to be a top recruiter?
That was my thought as well; regardless of how bad KP was as a HC, I would think it would be hard for Nolan to get another assistant gig if he was actively undermining his HC during the early part of the season.
Yeah in that world trust is a big deal. We have seen what an assistant coach with bad judgement can do to a program. Smith exhibited really bad judgement. Not all coaches are squeaky clean there is no way I hiring anyone I couldn’t trust 100%.
