I'm really pumped about having stenberg, stallings,AA, young for several more years!Glad to see Young play, thought he may miss time after hurting his ankle week. And Stenberg is a man. Will be nice having those guys around for 3 more years.
Yep. Not to mention we have three very good prospects in Jackson and Fortner and Leavitt who are redshirting. Wolfe might also be a guy who can make an impact. Very bright future for the line. Our most talented players, for the most part, are not even the starters at this point.I'm really pumped about having stenberg, stallings,AA, young for several more years!
Thought Middleton/Pringle played a very good game today! Keep getting better..Domination. Total domination. The D also did a really nice job of slowing down the MO offense.
I heard a bit. But the announcer ranked our line. It was near the top. Was it 3rd in the sec?
He had some blocks today where it looked like he just swallowed the defender.Cole Mosier looks like a completely different player than a year ago. Really impressed with his progress.
Yep. I think a lot of people just thought the bama players were being nice but in truth as we've seen, they were rightSomebody mentioned it in another thread, but we probably should have paid more attention when the Alabama players said UK was the most physical team they played all year. It was hard to see at the time, but the OL has found its identity, and it's to maul teams.
Have to agree.Cole Mosier looks like a completely different player than a year ago. Really impressed with his progress.

The way this O line has really come on is making me rethink my assessment of Stoops recruiting. Earlier this year, I was beginning to think, OK, clearly our recruiting is better, but it's all little guy/skill position stuffings. Which is nice, and necessary obviously. But if you are still really weak in the trenches - as it looked like we were going to have bad lines on both sides of the ball - then I'm not sure how much better off you really are. Now, it's clear the O line is a strength. Which just leaves one weak spot in recruiting (front four) and a) those guys are harder to get to begin with, there's just fewer of them and b) we've had some bad luck with turnover. Bottom line, Stoops recruiting has a better sheen on it today.....
Mosier likely would have been recruited by some schools had he played his HS SR year, but was injured. Great story nonetheless. How many starters has UK had from Walton-Verona before?Based on what I saw today, and to a lesser extent for the whole year, Mosier may start appearing on draft boards. If he does, what a great story for a walk-on.
