It's still possible that I could get happy again...

Sooners are like the reluctant executioner that can't swing the sword. OU needs to milk the clock, instead we get an ill-advised interception.

Poor replay. If Evans fumbled before he crossed the plane, they don't show if it was recovered or who did it.

INT by Thomas!!!!!!!!!!! Good thing. Our DB tackling is pitiful and has been under Mike for a long time.

With a 3-score lead and 6 minutes left, OU with the ball...

I'm starting to get happy again.

Shorthorns have burnt orange coming out the sphincter. Get ready for desperation.....nice job Sooners. Couch burners about the usual. Holgerson and D are synonymous with acid and water. Nice cheap shot Joseph. We've had one of your kind and is cost us !!!!

You know, I don't want to jinx anything, but, this team is getting better and maturing visibly before our eyes every week.

I really believe we might be a little better at this point in the season than we thought we'd be...

It feels pretty damn good too.:D

Don't guess I understand? Maybe you can explain.
Maybe I should clean my glasses but our DB's fail at tackling 101. They're better at picking off passes, though. How's your glasses? Maybe it's time for a new prescription.

Happy Dance....good job D. Skylar proved quite feminine today. Hope he has career building games against the seemingly odd TCU and Buylor,

I thought we were toast when they closed to within three. We couldn't move offensively, and we hadn't stopped them in the second half, except with a turnover that we couldn't convert into a TD. We just had a terrible third quarter. They had the momentum, and we were on our heels.

Did one TD pass do all that? They didn't score again, couldn't hang on to the ball. Their passes were to us. It wasn't that we had a great offense in the fourth. We took advantage of turnovers.

That one quarter was so different from the rest.

I don't think it's that bad. In the days of four passes per game by the two teams combined, DB's had to be better at tackling in the run game than in coverage. But those days are gone, and you have to sacrifice a little on the tacking side to find guys who can cover. I think our DB's are a little smaller than some, especially the safeties.

But OUr defensive backs tackle better than average. Except for Ronnie Lott, not many corners are going to be successful very often against a running back. OU forced five turnovers today and the DB's were pretty good overall.

We played better than any of the ranked Big Ten schools. A whole lot better than Georgia.

And of course, everybody in the country played better than Texas. It was a good day.

I think the defense had their best game of the year today. I agree the tackling was a little suspect. Sanchez got picked on again and was dragged here and there by bigger athletes but overall I was pleased. Next week should be fun

Yea I thought he had a sub par game....in order to have a chance at the next level he needs to really improve on his tackling. Right now, its VERY bad. J. Thomas had a good game as did Striker and Mayfield. Really hope ou hangs half a hundred nex saturday but rival games are hard to predict

101? Guess I need to watch it again. I'll get back to you. As of now great win for my alma mater. And a great win for this Defense and Mike Stoops.
