Stinking FG. 14-3 OU. No OL, receivers dropping passes, kickoff fumble. We're awful!

Pretty pathetic. May take a nap in a few. First time I have seen OU play so far this year. Are we really this bad?

If we can get a TD just before the half and keep UT out of the end zone for the 2nd half, we gotta chance. Slim one with this pathetic OL.

I hope the OU players don't give up like some fans already seem to have. This game is along way from being over.

No excuses for Mayfield...he knows the pressure is coming, he HAS to get rid of the ball.

It's half over and we are not showing any signs of life. From where do you derive your optimism? We DO play better in the 2nd half...at least going into this game.

Texas playing with ALL the fire and heart. Texas will own the clock in this game and that does not bode well for us. I would be more optimistic if our vital signs were near normal and not on life support.

Ugly game and it will only get uglier as Texas running game is controlling the clock. Feel bad for Baker. He's trying but is getting no support at all from the OL. Coach is gonna have to ride the OL pretty hard at the half.

14-3 UT at the half!

Great job stoops, stoops, and Riley having the Sooners ready to play. Your outdoing last years sorry outing. Embarrassing.

85 total yards. I don't think the fans had anything to do with that. Not gonna beat many teams with that type of showing in the first half. Hopefully they wake up during halftime and come out with a lot more desire, Coaches and Players.

I don't give up and cry Mama before the game is over. I guess you didn't watch the Tennessee game.
I guess you are not seeing us get manhandled and ravaged. I guess you don't see UT's running game sustaining their drives and working the clock.

Not meaning to be obtuse but we're getting destroyed in the trenches. Would love another Tennessee scenario.

At halftime, Bob didn't even mention our OL as an area of needed improvement going into the locker room.

This game isnt going well but I think we all knew Texas was going to be a dangerous game. Texas has nothing to lose and so far have shown they are pumped for this game.

OU so far has done nothing to deflate that momentum so far. Mayfield is running for his life as our OL cant seem to block anyone. This team needs to come out and score to start the second half and if they can do that I think they will be fine. If not then OU may need a Tennessee 4th Qtr to pull it out.

Texas gets the opening kick off in the 2nd.

Another dose of reality for everyone who though Texas was just gonna lay down and not show up for this game. Some OU fans really will never learn. This game is far from over though.

The main issue is OUs OL is just getting dominated. Baker isn't getting much time to find open guys and I assume the coverage by Texas has been pretty tight. That and the OL isn't getting any push for Mixon or Perine to do anything either.

OU can come back after halftime. OU has the players to still come out and blow this thing out the 2nd half.

Maybe now we won't be as disappointed when we get murdered by Baylor and TCU.

Billy's right. Don't give up yet. 30 minutes to play. OUr D only gave up one meaningful first down in the 2nd quarter.

Texas is snake bit. The closer they get to thinking they have the game won is when they will do something to lose the game.

Plus the fact that OU wasn't supposed to be a great team this year and they aren't. Anyone that thought Oklahoma was going to have easy wins against anyone except Kansas wasn't paying attention to what was being said about the OL during fall practice. If we had last year's OL, we would have been ahead instead of behind now, but we don't. Halftime adjustments will be critical, but doable.

A couple of things are obvious. Texas has earned their 1-4 record. They are not a good team. They got a little lucky with the fumble. But, they have outplayed us by so much that they would have a 24 point lead if they were a good team.

They have the momentum, but they were also coasting in the second quarter. They weren't trying to expand the field like they had done in their scoring drives. I don't know that it is wise to coast just yet. Although I see no signs of life yet, there may be some vestige of pride in the offensive line. Two drives of solid play-calling and adequate blocking might do it.

How can you be a college line coach and not teach a kid any better than to put one foot back on a pass play? At the very least, can't you now use that as a decoy? Put his feet even, and throw over the middle.

Exactly we played a subpar half and stated to move the ball...Texas has went conservative one score and the pressure is all on them lets see how they hold up

Hopefully, we keep Texas off the board in the 2nd half and we score on all our possessions...or just enough to eke out the win.

Fingers definitely crossed.

Another whiffed tackle by Sanchez and another Texas 1st down. They're absolutely gashing us on the ground.

We've been in this situation before in a worst environment and against a better team. Texas is just exploiting our weaknesses..... Oline, and we cant handle running QBs

Poor tackling on 2 critical 3rd down plays in that Texas drive sustained momentum, clock usage, and ended in points.

But but but Sanchez is elite. Ladies and gentlemen this will take a miracle. I'm not saying it can't happen but.....

At least, we have turned the life support machines back on. Now, stop the run.
