<div>(please take the following with a grain of salt)</div><div>
</div>Kimbrow joining Redmond at MSU. One of them made the comment about there still being a chance they will play college ball together. And yes, Kimbrow is the one with doubts, not Redmond. Supposedly Kimbrow is really, really close to Will's family and some of them live in Mississippi. Something about a family member of Will's is like a second mom to Kimbrow. We are still recruiting Brian really hard. Well...as hard as we can.<div>

I see of missing out on Autry and getting Alonzo Moore. I'd like to get Richie Brown, but he's too close to BR for comfort. I think if by the grace of God, Nick James seems to be a shoe-in to qualify, it raises our chances substantially. Also, the longer he waits, the harder it's going to be for him to get into LSU. All those 4 and 5 star LBs they have offered are going to start committing due to their success this year. Not to mention, as we closer to signing day, I bet some other schools (Bama and AU) make a late inning charge.<div>
</div><div>As for a list...</div><div>Evans</div><div>B Brown</div><div>Hill</div><div>Moore</div><div>JUCO OL</div><div>
</div><div>Also, there is a 99.9999999999999999% chance that a couple of guys we have committed will sign with another school or not qualify. Just take that into consideration when assuming we have only 5 spots open.</div>

Although I don't know specifics. <div>
</div><div>I think there is a good chance we take 6 more. Best case scenario would be:</div><div>Evans/Autry/Hill/R. Brown/B. Brown/A. Moore</div><div>
</div><div>My guess is we have contingencies for each of those guys - that has to be our Top 6, assuming Ward is written off. Those being: Gaines for Hill; AJ Jefferson or Butler for Autry; Grogan for Brown/Brown; maybe this new WR on the radar, Reggie Love, for Moore. </div><div>
</div><div>It is really impossible to call the last 6 at this point, especially after what has happened the last couple of years in the 11th hour, but I imagine it is going to be 6 out of all names listed above.</div>

I have spoken to Bama guys who say their main target from MS right now is Liggins. Ward and Evans are still back up plans at this point. Yes I do understand how good we think those guys are but to Bama they are just another recruit. If a guy from Florida, Texas, and California fall through then Ward and Evans would become top priority.</p>

Evans is at least third on Saban's list for interior DLs. When I heard QE got suspended for smoking weed, I fist pumped. I knew he just shot his bama offer to ****. Saban wants Eddie Goldman and has for a long time. Evans is at least third choice. This is huge for us. I think we land Evans.

Ward, who the F knows. He has stars in his eyes and is a player. I don't think he considers state or ole miss bigtime. He knows he has a scholly to either automatically. Again, it comes down to a numbers game. Bama has the luxury of selecting from among multiple five stars at about every position on defense. They can walk on a kid for reasons that have nothing to do with the field. Same with LUS. I think Ward ends up at LUS because Saban has Jordan Jenkins and Devall already lined up.

They can shuffle the deck with 4 & 5 stars however they want. I'm hoping the 25 rule actually does work in our favor. It'd be nice to finally have a rule from the SEC home office actually help the little guys.

Torrey Bell is going to play defensive end for sure. Word on scout was they were surprised that he did not get his 3rd star, had an outstanding camp circuit and is very very athletic.

Also we are getting a walk-on kicker/punter in addition to devon bell and he is one of the top in the country. very good class for special teams.

Need to add b. brown and or r. brown, brandon hill, glauser, quay evans and best available of alonzo moore/kimbrow or autry if we can get him. would be great to channing ward and i do not think its as much of a pipe dream as people think. he wants to win next year, IF we go to a bowl we have the best hope in-state, he WILL NOT go to a loser. LSU is too far away, it is us or Bama if we go to a bowl. Just have to hope Bama runs out of room.

IF we close with any combination of Evans, the Browns, Autry or even Evans, plus pick up a JUCO OL and fill in with one or two best availables, this will be a top 25 class (if you are in to that kind of thing). It will also be one hell of a class on the defensive side of the ball.

Now, we have not really closed well down the stretch the last few years, so I am not going to get to giddy about this class until we see how it ends; but, I think we are in better shape with better prospects at this time of the year than we have been in the previous years under Mullen.

We absolutely MUST get to 6 wins and a bowl game. Not quite the season some had expected, but back to back bowl games, albeit the PapaJohnsBBCACompassInsightWeedWacker.com Bowl, is a step in the right direction.
