Several of the formerly banned trolls are there attempting to satisfy their heretofore repressed urges to flame and troll. There is zero moderation.
I mean this is like a library though...

I'm over there a fair amount. The trolling is limited to a couple of threads but it is very obvious. They could use some moderation to remove that junk.
Yeah, just not sure there is going to be an active force for many of the Old ZZLers to move to the New ZZL.
Many of them don’t know they can register an I.C. account with On3 for free. And the layout at On3 is a pretty jumbled mess until you get I.C. set as your default home. After that the fit and finish appearance are almost the same. Lots of posters won’t go through that hassle.

Fit and finish being nearly the same is correct. I had to play around with settings a bit at first but got my viewing setup into a state where there's not much difference than what I was used to. I always just used the browser windows...never been a fan of most dedicated apps

Does this board have a notification icon like the 247 Bell icon (or something similar) that lets you know when someone quotes you? Or if there is a new post on a thread directly following your last post? Or if someone likes your post, etc? And if there are new posts on a thread since the last time you opened it?

I think the answer is yes to all of those questions. Look at the top left of your screen, which should now show an alert (which can be clicked) that you’ve been replied to.

I’m using Safari on my iPhone. I did see the red alert icon with the number one in it in the top left corner, but when I clicked it then the side menu bar just appeared. There was no indication as to what the alert was for.
And I still don’t see an alert when another person has posted on a thread directly after me or anything like the red jewels on thread titles on 247 that would tell you how many posts there have been on a thread since the last time you opened it.
All in all I feel like the 247 board UI is superior to this one. Unless I’m just missing these things or they need to be activated manually somewhere in my Settings
Click the bell icon on the top row, after clicking the alert to open the left nav. That works for me on safari. It gives me info about replies etc.
I was thinking that the boldfaced thread titles show if there are new posts since you last visited a thread but maybe that’s not as good as what 247 had? I guess I didn’t use that feature much.

I haven’t dived into what exactly “Old ZZL becoming a Romper Room” means, but what I do know: just like that community thread shows how spaces evolve, our Wagamama Menu site evolves too—always improving design and menu clarity so food lovers can effortlessly find dishes like Katsu Curry or Chicken Ramen with accurate prices.
A bunch of the thread titles have the NEW icon next to them, but many are threads I have never clicked on. So I was thinking that just meant they were new threads. Does it mean that there are new posts on that thread?
I believe that indicates any thread you have never visited.
I paid the $1 to be here until Nov 1. I do visit football board. That free Paramount+ is hard to give up.
The politics thread there is getting really nasty. And it’s bleeding over to other threads.
I am trying to push down the inevitable "everything different is worse" inertia but I honestly really liked the 247 architecture. The app is a bit of mess particularly with accessing the ZZL. And the fact that the community has been split...kind of a bummer. There are posters still over there that I actually miss, lol. Oatmeal for one.
