either us or Vandy has pulled that off before at some point in time.

But back to Ole Miss- I think their last SEC win was the Les Miles spike game.

It's ever happened to OM, not an SEC record. They beat UK last year at home.

Final games this year are: @ Auburn, @ UK, vs LSU, @ MSU.

A win @ UK is probably their best shot at an SEC win this year. We're a close 2nd though.

a team has lost 10 straight SEC games. Not sure if he's correct but he said it during a break in the LSU / AUB game. <div>
</div><div>Edited to add:</div><div>During the lsu/aub halftime he confirmed it, said first time in the SEC's 79 year history a team has lost 10 conference games in a row.</div><div>
</div><div>Congrats Bears, you 17sticks gonna hang a banner for that?</div>

That is the first time in the 79 year history of the conference for any team to lose 10 consecutive conference games.

South Carolina lost something like 20 in a row at the end of the 90's and I'm sure Vandy has a long stretch in there somewhere. I think State even lost 10 in a row at the end of Jackie's tenure.

South Carolina lost 21 games overall in a row at one point. You don't think that was more than 10 SEC games? It was 17 straight, ending with a win over UGA in 2000.

Sewanee lost 37 straight SEC games at one point.

Mississippi State has SEC losing streaks of 25 (1965-1970) and 19 (1975-78) that I could easily find. Maybe you should learn a little more about your institution's athletics history.

Its the first time in Ole Miss' history to have 10 in a row. Congratulations on being a 17ing idiot.

Why do we want to mess with our long tradition of SEC football by changing our uniforms? You carpetbaggers need to settle down on such matters. Now, where's my new fangled VCR? I need to catch up on my Matlock stories.

for hosting the largest number of KKK meetings on an NCAA campus. Definitely time for another bannner honoring the "forward rebels".

Went 12-0 in a slate that included Georgia, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, LSU, Ole Miss, Auburn, as well as Tulane and North Carolina.

All 5 of the Texas, Texas A&M, Tulane, LSU, and Ole Miss games were all played within a 6 day span, and were all shutouts.

Recorded 11 shutouts.

Outscored opponents 322 to 10.

And yes, they were in the SEC from 1932 to 1940 and never won a conference game.

interesting book written about the 1899 Sewanee team and individual players, many of whom became very successful businessmen.
Such as corporate CEO's, bank presidents and the like.

Well, I would love to laugh while pointing a finger at the Bears. But if these new super conferences get formed........assuming we get to stick around........it is going to get ugly. Another reason, I hope it never happens. I like our GarbageUSA wins after a couple of tough SEC weeks.

The rest of the country looks only at Ole Miss like that. The Perception of The Mississippi State University is that we're theIsland of Racial Equality (sneaking out to play an integrated Loyala team during Jim Crow days, Hiring Sylvester Croom, etc) in a sea of racial anomosity.

I know all that is only perception, and we all know it's much more complicated than that. However, 90% of perception is reality to the public.

Just calling you what you are. And then you try to blame your ignorance on Tim Brando saying it on national TV, as if that somehow explains away your stupidity.

I mean, really, did you actually think Ole Miss was the first SEC school to lose 10 straight games?

No but Nutt IS the only coach in Bear history to lose 9 straight now it's 10. And after next week it'll be 11 because you can't stop the run. That's how Arky got back in the game, it's how Vandy, Georgia and Bama pounded you. It's also the only thing Auburn does REALLY well. So I see Auburn beating you and then you'll beat Kentucky to end the streak. But if you look @ the stats even Fresno & the FCS school put up decent rushing numbers against the bears. It's a SERIOUS problem that needs to be adressed.
