Rangers fans!
The players and Gallant are saying everything that should be said.
I don’t disagree with any of the verbiage.
Win one game!!!!!
Play our game
We know what we need to do
We’ve been here
Why have to rise
Everyone on the same page
We know what we’re capable of
Blah, Blah, Blah
Elephant in room:
The man behind the bench has jumbled his lines in an attempt to handle the Devils, speed, pressure and the fact we can’t take more than two strides before we’re physically knocked off the puck….that’s his answer.
We will do nothing different strategically, nor will we alter our strategy….get pucks to the net and create traffic is not a system, it’s a byproduct and result of a system.

Devils now have the GREAT CONTRADICTION going in their favor.
It’s the Golden Fleece, finding treasure of hockey…. It’s unexplainable and can’t be beat.
They are defending at every level giving the Rangers no room, space or time…every Ranger is smothered and has to make a puck decision in milli-seconds.
YET, the Devils have players constantly flying up the ice, their break out first touch is to a wide open player with speed and Ranger fans must live in fear of Devils behind us.
How can you be in two places at once😊

Devils win easy, hope I’m wrong
Don't try that reverse jinx stuff here buddy!😂😂

That was pretty much the beginning of the end for Lindros. Felt bad for him.
Loved Scott Stevens. Met him a couple times @ skates with season ticket holders. Couldn't get over how BIG he is in person.
His own fault. Of all his talents puck handling wasn't one of them. Skating with the puck and your head is looking down is a hazard in hockey!

He never should have played in that series. His return was a distraction for the flyers. Not that I am complaining.

Good analysis Zap. As a Devils fan I hope you're right.

Lindros running around trying to run people through the boards like a checking forward didn't bode well for longevity either. Always scratched my head watching that. How stupid of staff to allow it.
It still amazes me how we were able to get him from Saint Louis. Never thought the arbitrator would ever rule for the devils.
The risk you take trying to cheap out in arbitration. Blues pissed off the arbitrator. Thank God.
Was that the Shanahan trade? Long time ago.

Yes, Devils wanted Adam Oates or Stevens. Blues offered up Curtis Joesph and Rod Brind' Amour who both had no NHL experience but we're considered to be good future players. I think because neither had played in the NHL is what angered the arbitrator.

Not a bad player amongst that group to be honest.

Friend said that about Daneyko when he met him at a table in AC…”everything about him was huge…head, hands, everything.”

As for me John Elway looked monstrous in person in Breckinridge.

But the biggest overall human I saw in person was Jumbo Elliott at FDU when the Giants used to have their summer camp there.

Bingo. This is also the reason I drew a direct link between Games 2 and 5. It looked like they changed uniforms.

Any Devils fan old enough to remember the '01 final against the Avalanche, should never put the cart before the horse.
That one still stings

Game 6 at home and couldn’t close it out
Steam went out of them after Gomez goal was disallowed

I was at game 4 when they looked finished, then scored two in the final 10 min to knot the series at 2

Dano is a really big guy as well. My kids played street hockey with him and Bruce Driver at an event @ the Rock when it 1st opened. Really great guys.

The guy with the biggest head I've ever seen was the first Russian defector Fetisov.

Most NHL guys are pretty big. My wife and I walked out of the elevator at our hotel in Montreal right into the whole gang waiting for the team bus. Felt like walking in a forest. We went for the last Devs game @ the Forum. Like going to Mecca if you're a hockey fan. Lots of history there. Had to go before it was gone.

I look at the Devils as a better hockey team than the Lightning last year playing without Point.
A desperate game 6 faced the Blueshirts after winning the first 2 games. it rendered them more of the same as games 3 thru 5 and a mysterious benching.
Our best players need to play better is not a strategy, it’s a prayer

Yes it does! It is why I didn't include the positive one before.

Agreed, exhibit A, why I feel the way I feel!

After that garbage call, let the seconds elapse. After all, I doubt they will try to even it up.

That was original 6 privilege! Disagree so be it, it is just one man's opinion.

Absolute garbage tripping call. Home ice horse crap, Lucky bounce. Rangers have life. 3 penalties to 0…. I wonder who the NHL wants to advance.
They explained the rule on ABC, the tripping penalty was the correct call.

I get being frustrated at the penalty against Kane. But blame the rule, not the call. Used to be as long as you touched the puck first before any contact it was not a penalty. But that’s now been changed. Action after the puck has been touched can still be called a penalty.

Just going 1 for 1. If you don't want to decide the game, you remember you didn't penalize the Rangers for Tatar, so call nothing on Kane's fall because Mercer got all puck.

Now that would be consistent! Again just one man's opinion!
