No this is silly. Enjoy your victory! So yes? The Devils lost because of the officiating?

Enjoy your victory. I don't even know what you are talking about, good night!
Not trying to be a pain (really). But every hockey fan focuses on the calls that don’t go their way while looking past the calls that favor them. That’s all this was tonight. No this is silly. Enjoy your victory!
No not what I said at all. I just would have liked to see what would have happened, if they called it evenly.I'm sure you don't. Obviously, the Devils committed zero penalties tonight and just got screwed by the refs.
Rangers FINALLY got to the slot. Schmid is so big that if hes set and squared up hard to beat him. Make that guy have to move tho? Yahtzee
We're paying Palat to be 100% the opposite of the player he was tonight.
YES, we see this differently. Tonight it was too obvious home cooking. We didn't play well, so even if they were consistent, the Rangers may have very well won. I'm annoyed as a fan, that that close game was affected. Not trying to be a pain (really). I am enjoying the win, but will push back against officiating gripes. Especially when it wasn’t that bad.
Game 7 could go either way. What more could we ask for….another Rangers/Devils playoff series going the distance.
Again, only looking at calls from one direction.YES, we see this differently. Tonight it was too obvious home cooking. We didn't play well, so even if they were consistent, the Rangers may have very well won. I'm annoyed as a fan, that that close game was affected.
If the Rangers beat us, because we didn't score on the power play fine. If the NJD crosscheck for instance multiple NYR with no call, while they are giving the Devils 4 PP in quick succession, I think all you Ranger fan's would feel this way.
On to Game 7!
Could just be gamesmanship but hank and vally are questioning schmid on msg postgame right now. Saying he looks real rattled and shaky
No I'm not, there were multiple cross checks by your team not called right in front of the ref. The only Devil penalty that I think they should have let go like they did when Tatar and Meier got crosschecked in front of the ref, was the Kane trip on Mercer's stick. This whole time all I was saying, is I wish they called a consistent game. If you are going to call a lot, even it out. If you are going to let stuff go on, in front of you, after the whistle, call the same game the other way.Again, only looking at calls from one direction.
But let’s move on.

I think the news is the devs legitimately having to make a decision on who to put in net for game 7He did look rattled. And shaky. Not sure this is breaking news.

LOLStatistics about elimination games are pretty meaningless in my opinion. If they would have won more of those games, then he would have played in fewer elimination games.
Hank and vally beg to differ. Ones a hall of fame goalie, the other is former nhl goalie and now runs a hockey analytics site. There's ZERO decision. Akira's the guy. Why Lindy took him out in the 3rd. clear his head.

What does them being rangers guys have anything to do with it?Both are Ranger guys...there is no decision to be made.
Vally cheered when the Devils won the 2019 draft lottery, thought Kakko was better than Jack. He's a biased assclown. Both are Ranger guys...there is no decision to be made.

Great rebuttal, thank you for providing such convincing arguments to change my mind.
He should stick to goaltending, which he is knowledgeable about. The analytic company he started, Clear Sight Anaytics, has advanced the evaluation of goaltending quite a bit compared to the basic goaltending statistics the NHL compiles.Vally cheered when the Devils won the 2019 draft lottery, thought Kakko was better than Jack. He's a biased assclown.
You said stats about elimination games dont mean anything. In otherwords the most high pressure games in sports are like preseason games. Its very funny. LOLGreat rebuttal, thank you for providing such convincing arguments to change my mind.
Nico is softttt. Just flops around trying to draw penalties thats all hes good for. Meier flops alot too but at least tries to be an agitator.- Will Nico or Maier ever score a goal? Nico is tough to watch. Maier is at least shooting on goal and being aggressive. Nico sets a bad example as a captain in m opinion. Way too soft.
- Ryan Graves was awful. Needs to up his game. Bahl needs to regain his mean streak. Devils forgot to contain Kreider again a la games 1 and 2
- Ref calls in Game 6 were very questionable.
- Thought Devils got too cute in first period and can they please stop committing penalties in offensive zone game after game
- Rangers regained their mojo without question
- Ruff is 0-4 as a HC in Game 7's. He has a decision to make as goalie.
- Shisterkin was terrific again
Creating something more to talk about. The kid will start game 7.Hank and vally beg to differ. Ones a hall of fame goalie, the other is former nhl goalie and now runs a hockey analytics site.
I've only been reading this thread since the playoffs started but if there's one thing that's pretty clear it's to expect the unexpected in this series because who knows what's gonna happen.Devils missed their shot tonight, Game 7 should look favorable for Rangers because right now the Devils are just not getting scoring from anyone outside a few, but most especially not out most of their top 6 (Nico, Bratt, Timo, etc....). Even Jack has been held in check for most of this series.
Igor will be the difference maker Monday night.
