Is BK the mutt of the burger franchises?

You can practically feel the health of the country improving…
Agree. But the fries! And yet, their burgers taste 100x better than McDonald's.
No doubt. It shouldn't cost $12+ a person for fast food under any circumstances. Their food is all garbage anyway. I can make a 100x better burger myself and probably healthier as well by using 93/7 lean beef instead of 80/20.If McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's all disappeared it wouldn't bother me at all. Foods horrible and horrible for you. And no longer a bargain/value, prices are insane for that crap.
Haven't had a fast food meal in probably over 20 years. Horrible macros. Tons of saturated fat, carbs, and who even knows what is in their special sauce-probably a terrible seed oil.No doubt. Applebee's food is a joke.Other chains that qualify for the Do Not Enter list:
Chilis
Outback Steakhouse
Ruby Tuesdays
Applebees
Longhorn Steakhouse
Perkins Pancakes
My God Longhorn and Outback both must bid on the cows that pulled the cart. As for McDonald’s and Burger King, I like the idea once in a blue moon and then quickly remember the results of why once in a blue moon.Other chains that qualify for the Do Not Enter list:

When the government along with folks on the Left mandate a $15+ hourly rate for fast food workers you have to pay for it. This didn't happen in a vacuum. Semi-literate FF workers think that making fries should be a career and the political opportunist on the Left happily supported them for their votes. Enjoy your inflation. No doubt. Do a lot "career" guys make $15 an hour? When the government along with folks on the Left mandate a $15+ hourly rate for fast food workers you have to pay for it. This didn't happen in a vacuum. I have been getting the forbidden message again too. Hope it doesn’t have anything to do with craving fast food.I still hit them up but 90% of the time I just get two cheeseburgers and a small coke, the other 10% is usually McNuggets.
But it hits my craving while I don't overload on the junk food.
EDIT - keep getting 403-forbidden, what's going on here?

Not Burger King, but the government seriously needs to do more to regulate Big Food and redo the macros on the FDA MyPlate. This is sad:
Is that like Area 51?I still hit them up but 90% of the time I just get two cheeseburgers and a small coke, the other 10% is usually McNuggets.

Bread has no taste because it takes time for the dough to rise when you use yeast, which is what gives bread flavor. Businesses want to crank out loaves as quickly as possible so they use chemical rising agents like baking soda instead, which leads to fluffy but tasteless bread.McDonald's burgers are awful (breakfast is ok)
They aren't cheap either
For the cost of a Little Mac, I can get takeout at local restaurant where they grind their own Angus beef for big burgers.
I've also been wondering what happened to bread.
I stopped buying bread in grocery stores (local bakeries are gone) because they have no flavor .
Locally I know the lunch crowd has chnaged.
Hispanic workers dont like McDonald's
They like bigger sit-down meals with soup, rice and chicken etc - not too crazy about bread and pizza (they call it "glue").
Lunch is their big meal and not dinner
There are a great many Hispanic delis that serve the meals and they are considerably cheaper than burger joints.
McDonald's (Mickey D's) has a more urban vibe and I tend to see them more in cities compared to BK
No, not at all. They make a lot of money because they pay a cheap wage.Wouldn't that mean ALL FF joints would be closing their doors?

I'm sure it has nothing to with the quality of their product or the service people are getting. Funny I never have read Chick-fil-A closings in the same areas. Quality product and great service and all employees get Sunday off.The point he was making was that BK was shutting down due to higher mandated wages.
