That is so true. Way back in the mid-90's, worked in Parsippany and used to go south on 202 to Morris Plains for this little hole in the wall place called Tony's. The old guy who ran it was, of course, Tony, and he made all the food himself. The meatball pizza and pepperoni pizza was out of this world, every single time. We actually started having our meetings there, we'd run up a tab and our secretary would pay it weekly. Of course they only took cash at the time. Anyway, some time after I left Tony retired and two younger guys took it over. I went there a couple of times, the pizza was still good, but not as consistently fantastic as when Tony ran the place.
