College Football Revamped for next season then. They just dropped an update for half the B1G (RU wasn't included) and will probably complete the B1G by the end of February. (https://github.com/cfbrevamped/CFBR-Easy-Installer/blob/master/PS3/disc.md) This is built on top of EA Sports College Football 14 and it is an amazing facelift to the point where it feels like a different game.
They replaced some lower level Independents to add the new teams in a conference:
- Appalachian State replaces Idaho
- Coastal Carolina replaces New Mexico State
- Charlotte replaces UConn
- Georgia Southern replaces UMass.
Whatās that mean that thereās no update for Rutgers? Meaning you canāt play Rutgers or that itās circa 2012 or whatever?
The problem is that EA is still the dev for it. Madden has deteriorated over the years and most of their sports games are the same game every year with different micro-transactions.
With that said I'll probably buy it day 1. Hopefully they stick with what made the game successful and fun in the 2010-14 NCAA football era.

RU has had some modifications. The complete revamping where changes to the uniforms and stadium will be complete is scheduled for the next release. Right now you can only play the uniforms from the '14 game (2013 season). That game has the Schiano uniforms from the Big East as well as two different black uniforms. You can play RU, it is just that your opponents may have different uniforms while you are still playing 2013 era.
This is awesome! Reminds me of the ultimate RU screw. There was a bug in the last version with coach goals. I moved RU to Big Ten and won the conference/national championship every year.. when my contract was up I got fired for not meeting some conference goal. Deep inside the code we must have been stuck in the AAC. Skynet knew what was coming with Ash.
I just played four seasons until I won the national championship. In the third season, Johnny Langan won the Heisman even though he was my backup QB and only used on short distance running plays. Imagine a QB with 0 passes winning the Heisman haha.

This must have happened early in the release cycle. I am still playing this game (with the College Football Revamped mod) and I've used a 10-tier relegation system in my past two dynasties without experiencing an issue like this. Each conference champion will move to the next conference up while the last place team moves down.
I think you can thank Covid for this. EA said it wasn't just the Ed O'Bannon decision that stopped them from making the game, but the fact that the licensing deals with the schools and conferences had run out or needed to be renewed, and it was difficult to make that happen. Have to believe that the lack of revenue for the conferences and schools have made things just a bit easier
