As a runner and running threat, yes. It allows you to beat Indiana, NW, VT and come back and beat Michigan State. Woody Hayes approves.
If Rutgers gets some speedy and elusive WR’s then GW may not be the best answer. The Minnesota QB looks interesting to say the least.
So just as runner, not a complete QB right?

Interesting. did your son ever tell you someone didn’t have to compete for a starting job when he played For GS?
Of course some do need to compete and some don’t. GW was named the starter less than 3 seconds into the “competition” last year despite not being able to complete easy, short passes.

Has GW ever been a dominant QB?

Of course not. But he does rule the roost at the very bottom of QB passing ranks. He’d win the anti-Heisman. If only we had a Fieldhouse things would be different.

Still improving and he didn’t have Carroo out there getting wide open. Yes he did miss a wide open Dremel (would have been a TD) and some others but he also threw plenty of balls away in order to avoid sacks/ints.

Some won’t like this answer and some will agree. This year was set in stone for GW…Greg skipped a recruiting year for this kid- one of the reasons I wanted him gone at that time. That should worth a firing for cause.
Greg was going all in for this one year- he got lucky and GW got us 6 wins. Kind of a win/win for Greg.
But now, let’s see Greg earn his new money- 2024- we either need a transfer in or it really has to be an open tryout before the season.
I’ll give him 2023 with GW and 6 wins- if GW is starting next year, it has to be because he earned it and we are blown away by his improvement. But if he is the starter all year again and is under 50% and not hitting open/easy passes- it is on Greg.
He doesn’t have to earn his money. That’s the problem with adding 3 more years after the 4 he already had coming

Forget Carroo. Simon has much better stats with the same OLine and same receivers

If Evan was 6’4” 225 and just as mobile as he is now he’d be NFL material by the “measurables.” I think he’s very accurate and just a little bit of a victim of his smallish size. His lack of size makes his job that much tougher. I feel the same way about Claude Giroux when Flyers fans used to kill him for not dominating Crosby and the other elite centers. Pound for pound Giroux is a Hall of Famer…but he’s never been a consistently dominant NHL player.
Claude Giroux also was Harry Houdini in the playoffs, but I digress.

That’s kinda my point. He gets the most out of being 5-9 185. Interesting that Ovechkin has seemingly hit a wall (his team getting old right along with him isn’t helping)…his goal production has really dropped off. I wonder if Ovi’s superhuman shoulders are beginning to age. I think he catches Gretzky eventually but he might have to do playing for the Coyotes at age 42.
Digression from the digression…
I often think how much better off Andy Reid’s sons would have been had they gotten involved in hockey instead of being immersed in nothing but football. I see your digression and concur, then elaborate and then digress again.
