It does affect others. First of all, its taxpayer-funded waste. As a conservationist, it's offensive to see the government taking resources, wasting them, and the result is N95s in the gutters and along the sidewalks everywhere, ultimately filling up the landfills needlessly.
On a societal level, we are pack creatures. We follow the herd. If the herd is misled, it is prone to irrational bad behavior. Everyone in the group is subjected to the results of that. There are many, and if you didn't learn that lesson over the last 3 years, you never will.
Somerset county golf courses will be closed until noon tomorrow
Seems like you're obsessed over pictures of me but I don't want to know if you touch yourself. That's gross. Now go waddle over to the donut stand, fat boy.
I got to Mercer Oaks at 4PM. County decided I'm not smart enough to measure risk reward and closed the course. This government is such a joke.
Just under the wire!We played 18 at Spooky Brook today (2:30 tee time). More cars in the lot than what I expected.
Go to bed.LOL. I think you posting S&M pics of yourself is worthy of comment when you bring up other perversions (Drag shows) without thinking I'm interested in them sexually.

I saw you. You looked like a poorly cooked turkey meatball covered in hair (and some leather straps).
Wanna go again?
Just under the wire!
I did, same old ******** screw. Your rapid fire manic posts aren’t normal. Chill or seek help.Facts bothering you?
Read the whole thread, petey.
The right wing moderators allow it. That’s why this site will never get another penny from me.God, this thread went from people trying to share info about a public health issue to the usual culture war political dickheads hijacking the thread. Good job usual suspects making the board unreadable again.
It’s funny that one of the mods issued an alert about that in this thread yet still allowed a bunch of crap from one poster who posts the same crap every time. The right wing moderators allow it. That’s why this site will never get another penny from me.

I say let him go out and die of respiratory failure or a heart attack if he's intent on it.
Biggest problem the not knowing how far the ball traveled; as it would disappear after about 150 yards. So if you were in the rough, the radius had to be fairly big to find your ball.
Lol I believe you, I really do. Now go waddle over to the donut stand, boy.LOL. I think you posting S&M pics of yourself is worthy of comment when you bring up other perversions (Drag shows) without thinking I'm interested in them sexually.

LOL. Yeah I'm the crazy one. The one not bringing Drag Queens into a thread.I did, same old ******** screw. Your rapid fire manic posts aren’t normal. Chill or seek help.

The board mods are part of the RWCJ. They cover each other. It’s funny that one of the mods issued an alert about that in this thread yet still allowed a bunch of crap from one poster who posts the same crap every time.
Stop calling me sweetie. I'm not interested in fatties like you. Get over it.Ask around. I actually socialize with normal Rutgers football fans, sweetie. I can be vouched for.
(I don't need you to vouch, ya know, because of the pics) ; )
Yup and this site will continue to lose revenue from subscriptions and from indirect revenue via decreased site traffic. The board mods are part of the RWCJ. They cover each other.
Well, mask posts are relevant because N95/KN95 masks remove about 95% of smoke particulates if worn properly, as I had mentioned earlier. That's worth communicating to people.Folks keep the comments about masks, politics, Covid and Trump out of this thread.
I have an outing tomorrow afternoon. It’s a private club. Will see what they dencode in the morningThe State knows best Komrades.
Maybe it's time to take up disc golf. It's free, it's usually a more rigorous walk (more like hiking), and no government henchmen to muck things up, lol. Was outside all afternoon and evening today, like yesterday. Smoke, shmoke...at least for those of us with superhuman respiratory systems - in all seriousness, it was bad out there for anyone with issues (my wife starting coughing as soon as she was outside in it for a few minutes and spent the day indoors and we changed our air filters today, as they looked like soot).I got to Mercer Oaks at 4PM. County decided I'm not smart enough to measure risk reward and closed the course. This government is such a joke.
You should be fine, as smoke/haze levels will be much better on Friday than today/yesterday, although we'll likely still have some smoke/haze around.Supposed to fly home from France into EWR on Friday afternoon. I wonder if the flight will be delayed or changed to a different airport
Arguing with you is like arguing with a 5-year old stamping his feet and spewing nonsense. As per the article below, even major volcanic eruptions typically only emit about 10-50 MM metric tons of CO2, which is a drop in the bucket when compared to the 29 billion metric tons of C02 emitted per year by humanity (that's with a "b" - a billion is a 1000 times more than a million, just in case you weren't aware). Again, do a little research before you post or ask a grown-up to help you with your posts.

When you realize that volcanism contributes 645 million tons of CO2 per year – and it becomes clearer if you write it as 0.645 billion tons of CO2 per year – compared to humanity's 29 billion tons per year, it's overwhelmingly clear what's caused the carbon dioxide increase in Earth's atmosphere since 1750. In fact, even if we include the rare, very large volcanic eruptions, like 1980's Mount St. Helens or 1991's Mount Pinatubo eruption, they only emitted 10 and 50 million tons of CO2 each, respectively. It would take three Mount St. Helens and one Mount Pinatubo eruption every day to equal the amount that humanity is presently emitting.

haha right
Mt Helens put more co2 and stuff in the sky that everything man has done to date and that doesn't even get into continued volcanic activity from under the oceans that emits more than all the cars on the planet.
it's all a money grab like reparations is now
It's pretty wild - reminds me a bit of the day we had the partial solar eclipse a few years ago, where it was much darker than normal at midday, but in addition, there was the low visibility, as it was hard to see beyond 1/10th of a mile today (about 500') when we were playing disc golf, and the ever present smoke smell. Fortunately, I have no respiratory issues.Have to admit, I'd like to see what that looks like with my own eyes.
Mask litter is unfortunate, but masks work, albeit imperfectly, for both virus-laden droplets and even larger sized smoke particulates, as I've explained in deep detail, since I've done primary research on mask efficacy with particulates. During the pandemic, mask efficacy went down considerably once omicron subvariants evolved with 3-5X greater infectiousness than the original strain; fortunately, by then, vaccines were widely available. It does affect others. The NY governor is telling ppl to stay inside if you don't have to go out. Has a familiar ring to it doesn't it ?The State knows best Komrades.
No, very little of this was going on a few years ago. What changed?Well this thread has devolved and the ‘lowest common denominator’ phenomenon has taken over. If you’re part of that, reconsider things in your lives. Insane how utterly stupid our society has become.
I thought of the same thing. Everything has that weird glow, same as on that eclipse day. There's many reasons for the smoke down to the lower US . Climate change is absolutely making for optimal conditions to make this happen to this degree. This has been coming for a long time. Thank you fossil fuel companies & other corporate polluters & your Republic deniers & enablers.
