Not sure why, but there are societies apparently in several places in the world that bind their heads (and other body parts). Why it was a common practice in places that didn't interact in history is beyond me. Even King Tut's head was elongated, as well as his father's.

But these are obviously alien, and so are the pharaoh's ... don't you believe Georgio??

It's widely believed that, and other ancient royals deformaties, was due to generations of incest. Tut also had a leg deformity in the one that was broken that is attributed to the same reason.

The pharaohs couldn't marry outside royalty. Same excuse UM fans use for it.

Seeing 'elongation of the skull', 'weird cheekbones', 'eyesockets' and a link to

Fox News in your post, I immediately assumed:

Akhenaten, Tut's father, had a strange pointed face and decidedly
feminine shaped body. According to Georgio, pharoahs typically had their statues made with broad shoulders and narrow waists. But not Akhenanten ... his supposedly was more realistic of his own out of shape self.

Why do people do this ****?

Numerous other examples can be used. We thought witches were running around Massachusetts. People be crazy.

Well, at least now she can see over the steering wheel. I bet her husband wishes she would do it to her arms. That is so he don't have to get off the couch to get the bread off the top shelf when she is making his sandwich.
