I was watching the grindingly intense No country for old men, and I was wondering since you've already signed your death warrant, wouldn't you snatch the drugs and the 2 million?

Also, Anton Chigeur...totally creepy bad guy.
Lastly, don't go looking for a shotgun with a silencer. Just a prop for the movie.

That movie is beyond outstanding. But it still haunts me to this day. Agree about Chigeur. A really bad guy.

Yeah, funny we shlubs can even type cast actors.
Case in point is this evil personified Javier Bardem. Every role he's done since No country he seems like a total wuss.

Oh well, to his credit he gets his freak on with his wife...the fetching Penelope Cruz.
Got that going for him.

That is one of my favorite movies. Just outstanding performances all around..... and you knew early on that there was no way that things wouldn't turn out badly all around. Possibly the baddest bad guy of all time in Bardim's character. That scene at the gas station was off the chain.

"Well ain't this a mess?" "If it ain't, it'll do 'til the mess gets here."

Yep, as a curious aside, the a and b list actors have it made.
The small part Woody Harrelson played for example.
They flew him into South Texas, had his wardrobe ready. He studied his lines for a day and shot his scenes. Three days total he was there.
400k bucks. Insane money.

Gee willacres, where do I sign up?
