Willing to bet there are great stories out there about houses, parties, landlords, etc.

My junior year I lived at the Birchwood Apartments, had a buddy who let off a fire extinguisher in the stairwells after losing a $20 bet on a coin flip 8 times in a row. Had another buddy try dipping for the first time after eating a foot long meatball sub and he puked against my wall that looked like a murder scene. Had a lot of poker nights in that place and parties were always pretty good in different apartments.

Senior year stayed at 32 Dix St, great spacious house. No parties, got robbed once when no one was home. Landlord was great.

Lived at 2 different houses on Central. One was two doors down from Joe's Liquors, which was great during Floyd because we watched people rolling kegs down the street through a hurricane. I'm pretty sure we paid for 4 or 5 guys and had 6 or 7 living there. When the landlord knocked, we had to hide like 2 or 3 mattresses, like a fire drill.
Then I moved to 45 Delafield where we had some great basement parties, but the best story from that house is probably when our entire front porch collapsed and had to be replaced when a bunch of people were hanging out there. A couple friends and I went back and visited the place in our 30s. Looks exactly the same, but had a much stronger weed smell.
A friend of mine lived in the apartment above RU Grill which was amazing. We used to sit on the back roof and heave wet paper towel balls at the people in line at Scarlet Pub. Not one of them ever figured out where they were coming from.

First house was on Maple St. in a huge house converted into 4 apartments. We had the front of the 2nd floor. The old Lebanese landlord lived next door with his hot young wife, who used to spend way too much time hanging out with us for his tastes. We were evicted after a particularly loud party, at the business end of a shotgun.

We moved briefly to a rundown walk-up on the corner of French and Comstock. The neighborhood was as sketchy as any I've ever seen.

Had houses on Delafield and Bartlett. Fond memories at both, as well as a lack of memories. Somehow I didn’t get a tenth as hungover as I do now, drinking way less.

Lived in a room on Inza St in Highland Park one year, then on the 1st floor on Welton St. in New Brunswick another. Welton St. was with other marching band members, so we became party central that year.

My car and roommates car got broken into separate incidents. They left the most valuable item which was CD changer. Not sure if they thought they were going to find gold bars in the trunk or something. Landlord was a useless dick that took forever to fix anything. Area was border of sketchy but liked living there and being able to bike to college Ave or downtown classes.
Best incident or story was the next door neighbor was having a mental breakdown and throwing everything he owned out the window that he smashed and his friend picked something off the ground and then got hit in the head with a folding metal chair and my roommate recorded the whole thing.

27 High St. with one buddy and six girls. That place was the site of some epic parties back in 01-02. We received 9 loud party violations that year from New Brunswick PD, but charging $5 a head, we always covered the fines with the next party. Amazingly I was the only one of the 8 residents who was over 21 and they never dinged me for providing alcohol to minors though.

Livingston Ave at Rutgers St not far from NBHS and midway between College Ave and Douglass campuses.

Lots of doctors offices, dentists, etc nearby who weren’t around after dark. Good thing for them as our house w 10 students cranked it pretty good most of the time. The mayor of NB lived a few blocks away.

I lived at 113 Louis St. Had a CD player stolen from our unlocked apartment and also had the window of my car broken and car stereo stolen. However it was close enough to the Ale n Wich that when there was a line for the bathroom I just ran home and went.

My dad grew up on Louis Street - #75. My grandfather lived there til he died in 1960. Also one of my dad’s cousins lived up the street - not sure of the # but it was next to the bar at the corner

Did @Plum Street live on Plum Street?

Lived on Busch Campus all 4 years. Had guaranteed housing in Richardson Apartments Soph-Senior years as a member of the volunteer fire department. That was a fun and interesting group of people in that group of apartments.

Junior year, lived at 200 Maple in Metuchen. The commute was easy. I had 3 roommates. 2 were teachers and PSU alums. One had a new first generation GTO which he shared. The other was a plumber from Rahway. He left after 3 months. Private bedrooms for all of us. And our guests.

Next lived a half block from Douglass, don't remember the street. 3 roommates from Jersey City. Every Friday night their friends came down and it was a pot party. I could sit at the top of the stairs (duplex) and just breathe to get as much as I wanted.

Lived at places on Hamilton, Hartwell, and Hardenburg. All the H’s. Was in Hamilton the night of Pandemonium in Pway. Then moved to Hartwell. Last year there I lived in the same house with my sister who was a few years younger. Split time between there and my gf at the time who lived above Joe’s liquors at the corner of Hartwell and Central.

Great times. Best house was probably Hartwell or Hardenburg. The Landlord at Hamilton was a scumbag. Hugo Flores. Go **** yourself, Pal.

Fraternity house 2 yrs on union st then Easton ave apts for sr year.
All the usual craziness at the frat house but I remember one night (when nothing was going on) some random guy stumbles upon our front yard going nuts screaming stumbling around into an enclosed area on side threatening anyone who tred to connect with him. The police and ambulence came and they said it looked like he was on Special K. He started trying to fight the cop aft hats when they eventually got the cuffs on him,

I also rented a room at a frat on Union St, eventually becoming a 'Social Bro' for the parties.Phi Sigman Kappa, I think 35 Union St, I think the building is now gone. We too had townies always stumbling into our basement bar via the back bilco door, we would toss them out ,and they would come back. I remember 1 townie named Yellow Dog always crashing parties, and was probably a thief too.
One of the brothers was on the Rugby team , they had a group of girls that came to the parties and would always have their blouses torn off. I freaked out the first time, then I realized they kept coming back and the same thing happened at every party. Wild.

I also lived at Easton North Garden Apartments after graduating, Quite the coincidence, unless I have multiple personality disorder and posting the same under different names, lol.

I also lived at 112 Hamilton St for a couple years after Easton N apts. Loved that location. Nights at the Showcase Lounge, Court Tavern, Patti's, Olde Queens Tavern, junk food up and down Easton Ave, walk to the train station for my Railroad conductor run, 2 round trips from NB - NYC.
