I still get my "This is your second and final notice" calls frequently; had one earlier today.
Registered with the national do-not-call list, but that seems to be a joke.

No!... they hung up, and I haven't heard from them since.
If they can't restructure your debt, they realize that they are wasting their time.

It was an 866 number so I doubt it had anything to do with St. Jude's. The woman was exceedingly polite though. I finally just told them to quit calling and it seems to have worked.</div>

The same girl called me for 6 nights straight. I told her every time that I had asked to be taken off the list, she said she would.... then, would call back the next night

They are a wonderful organization. I don't think they would pester their donors at all. They might ask for donations occasionally, but I really don't think they would participate in the late night phone calls thing.

I gave them money last year but I am not even positive its legit. To be honest, I have just about given up on giving anything to all of these and just stick to giving to St. Jude's or LeBoneur. These coast people harrassing the **** out of me definitely doesn't help them in my eyes.

From "hi, there, it's Owen, with a special offer". Haven't been able to stop them so I spent $100, got a new cordless phone with call block feature. Stopped it on the home phone. Can't be done on iPhone but someone suggested assigning the same ringtone to every telemarketing call. It's a silent tone so at least I never hear them calling.
