Not for one second do I buy any scientist using "174 years of record keeping." Even modern scientific measurements often turn-up wrong and misused. Comparing things like modern satellite data to whatever crude measurements that are being used for 1849 is begging for abuse (hence the ridiculous hockey stick mess).

I might be a Dem because they are all in a tizzy using heatwaves (weather) and fires to declare apocalyptic climate/weather are upon us. Talk about confusing definitions and contexts. Its pretty diabolical that a lot of kids think hurricanes come from "climate change."

In the past I used to get yelled at by the kooks for citing studies from geophysicists and not meteorologists. So yeah the word games, rigged defnitions, "fingerprints of evidence" and bogus stats stand out in contrast to any real rigeur. Its pretty obvious that most of the apocalyptic weather/climate crowd is wrong all the time

Al Gore won a Nobel Prize for his con. He said "there is a 75 per cent chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during the summer months, could be completely ice-free within five to seven years."

That was in 2009.
These kinds of fanrications are constant.
They researcher Gore cited for his prediction got mad at Gore.

Did they already give up on the hottest day evah! claim lol

Hottest Day Evah!

A couple of things. First these data will be from satellite data, so only cover the last 40 years and how accurate can these be over such a large area as a planet – particular with cloud and vegetation cover making data-gathering inconsistent. Second, as a matter of common, scientific sense the idea that the calculation of a global average temperature can be made to an accuracy of hundredths of a degree is utter nonsense. If you were to measure the shade temperature in your own garden it would vary by whole degrees from one part to another and from one height to another, so the idea that they know the ‘global average’ temperature was 17.01C or whatever is scientifically illiterate. Where are estimates for accuracy, which I am sure would be + or – several degrees. Finally, the ‘scientist’ quoted clearly has no proper knowledge of palaeoclimatology. There is universal evidence of warmer spells within the time of humans on earth and we know there was the medieval warm spell, the Roman warm spell, not to mention the Holocene warming. All the evidence of a huge quantity of scientific literature estimates the Holocene warmer than the present day – with ice-free arctic, etc.

The idea that we know the global temperature today is absurd in itself. But the idea that we actually know what it was on a given day 100 years ago, or 1000 years ago, never mind thousands of years ago is sheer fraud.

And the claim that it is hotter now than 5000 years ago is a total lie – there is abundant evidence that it was much warmer then.

Once again, you're completely confusing weather and climate. You posted a bunch of examples of specific hot weather records from the past - these are not indicative of climate at all. Global average temperatures being the hottest they've been in 174 years of record keeping over an entire month and likely in thousands of years overall are indicative of climate change for the planet. If you don't understand the difference you can't add anything of value to the discussion. You also didn't include any source for your comments about the volcano.

The July global surface temperature was 2.02°F (1.12°C) above the 20th-century average of 60.4°F (15.8°C), making it the warmest July and likely the warmest month in NOAA’s 174-year record. This marked the first time a July temperature exceeded 1.8°F (1.0°C) above the long-term average.
It's always amazing to see people who don't have even a basic conceptual understanding of something thinking they know more than experts. And they do this with every subject.

You realize that graph shows 2019 as the US record energy production year no?
You realize there was a global pandemic after 2019 that caused production and consumption to fall? It’s now raising and on an annual basis this year will be higher than ever. The chart also highlights export activity. You hav chose to ignore these facts, why?

I'm not ignoring anything. I pointed out a fact about the chart you linked, no need to get defensive. And I have asked you questions about your previous assertions. Why are you ignoring that?

Insanity.

They need a distraction from all the records, confessions, whistleblowers etc.

Did you see doctors can now prescribe therapeutics for CV-19?
They had no constitutional authority to use OSHA for mandates (court cleared that up) and they had no authority to ban MDs from prescriptions but they did both.

Under Operation "Warp Speed" protocols, only elderly and unhealthy were to get jabs - the rest were suppossed to get therapeutics. But they got bad-jacketed/banned because because by regulation therapeutics had to be used before jabs. So they took decades old drugs heralded for saftey and made them seem to be poisons.

AllState insurance lost 32 cents on the dollar through the first 6 months on 2023 due to catastrophic losses in the home insurance market.

I’m pretty sure they are confident that climate change is affecting our country and economy.

Almost everyone but conservatives is. The right in this country used to be somewhat moderate and showed some flexibility but they've become extreme and hyperpartisan and will fight literally anything the other side does now because of it. And they're utterly clueless about it.

Mother nature hasn't changed, human beings decided to build where Mother Nature already told them not to. A flood plain is called a flood plain for a reason. It may not flood today or in 50yrs. but eventually it will. I learned all this sh*t way back in the late 80's in my Environmental Science classes when caring about the environment wasn't in vogue. In a class of 8,000 students, I graduated with 5 people in my major. Even worked for the NJDEP for a while till Whitman cut backs.

Do you try to sound as stupid as possible? Because you're at a sub-human level.
