The man
I assume there was some "oh no, here comes the 4-year bear market" dynamic going on, but I just don't believe the cycles are a thing anymore. However, expectations are a powerful thing. TA itself is completely BS, but since enough people believe it works, it does to a certain extent (especially with algo trading which is mostly based on TA). That's why we all need to respect and follow it.BTC back to $91K.
Were the "4 year cycle" believers a significant part of the sell off? If so, have they been shaken out?
I'd say TA is real in it's own right, but then is super charged by people using TA to trade.I assume there was some "oh no, here comes the 4-year bear market" dynamic going on, but I just don't believe the cycles are a thing anymore. That's a good point. TA isn't about math or techincals, it's actually about human behavior and psychology (and herd mentality). If everyone believes in voodoo, it will work. Right? @rutgersguy2I'd say TA is real in it's own right, but then is super charged by people using TA to trade.
The key to understanding TA is to realize that price action is the result of human behavior. So TA is actually analyzing human behavior not some random stock price movement.
A lot of whale selling and etf outflows. Like I said before, any movement like that is going to spook the traditional four year cycle believers.BTC back to $91K.

Also explains SERV being up 18% today.Trump considering an executive order to supercharge the robot industry in the US.
