Just watched a match between him and Dusty Rhodes at MSG late 70s I guess. What a couple of absolutely incredible characters. Sad news, had been in poor health a while now.

Not that much difference in their chosen vocations. Evangelists are the professional wrestlers of religion. The preacher guy died a few years ago.
Saw him wrestle in a house show at South Mountain Arena vs. Chief Jay Strongbow as a kid. It was still the WWWF back then. I miss the old school wrestling.
