There aren't that many deer. It is all pines (which also makes it really easy to get lost as a MFer). You really have to get wayyy off the road to find any good spots, and they don't allow ATV use even for deer retrieval.
That said, there is some really good hunting around Louisville and over around West Point and Aberdeen.
That's really my only input on this thread other than saying the schools do kinda suck when compared to the Rankin/Madison area.
