What's the weather forecast looking like in Durham Saturday? Who gets to wear their home uniforms, Murphy or Pamlico?

Pamlico loves to get their backs to the outside. As a previous poster said, the Murphy d is going to have to contain that or a few of those runs can easily turn into large gains

So Swain plays where they should? Based upon what? As previously said, Swain was in 1A for several years. Guess they decided, hey we should be 1AA, let's go up. No that isn't what happened. The state put them there like they do the rest of the teams, including Murphy.

They did get swain this year and have several years in past but owning someone to me is beating them nearly every year kind of like florida owns tennessee.swain county owns a winning record vs every team in the smc and yes that includes murphy so saying anyone in smc owns swain is ludacris.#s don't lie
If it weren't for the years Swain had a starting defense made up of all players from Cherokee and all the best players over all that should have been at Cherokee it would be tied up or we would be slightly ahead like it was before those years. What kind of empressive team have you had since then? #'s don't lie.
Man, enough of the nonsense, .I be honest I have played for Murphy, .I have much respect for Swain,, I don't care nor did I ever care or was it a concerned if or who was on Swain's team, .I loved playing the game, .I made lots of friends from all teams I played against, . Who cares if Cherokee kids play there,. I made lots of friends
Hey everyone why can’t we talk about Murphy vs Pamlico? That’s what this tread is about. I don’t care who owns who or what Swain or Robbinsville had last year or the other years when MHS plays youall next year we can chat then! Right now Murphy is getting ready to go to Duke to play Saturday for the 1a State Championship from the SMC. It doesn’t matter if you like Murphy or not lets talk about the game coming up. Not all this other nonsense that means absolutely nothing to the game that’s coming up. I think Murphys d line will dominate Pamlico they do have speed but when your looking at #71 80 52 and 76 in the backfield it’s hard to hand the ball off. On offense if Pamlico puts 8 to 9 in the box Micha will eat them up passing . Anyone care to add there thoughts?
Weather could play a huge role in this game. If the rain prediction holds it "could" help Pamlico. Pamlico could put the 8-9 in the box without worrying about the Murphy passing game as much. While I agree with others above about Murphy having the best line in the game, being without #32 and #40 a maybe could be a difference maker.
As with most of the games, I will be hoping that the west wins. Good luck to both teams and an injury free game. Hopefully the weather holds off.
Side Note: With Murphy wearing their white uniforms, hopefully they have a good cleaner. Cause after the mud bowl at Mitchell they were no longer white.

I think the key is containing the corners. They have speed to burn if they can make the corner, but I don’t see them having a lot of success between the tackles
I hope the rain holds off during the game . Had enough of that when we played at Mitchell it was a mud bowl ! Go Dogs!
I noticed on thier stats as far as kick-offs that they only had 4 touchbacks so Murphy may have a chance of good run backs. They average 20 yards on kick off return only 3 80+ yard returns and punt returns don't look anything special.
I would definitely play defense against the run on Pamlico. They are 11 of 18 for 301 yards passing for the year and 180 of that came against one team Southside plus 0 attempts in thier last 2 games.
