Just painful watching him.

Always liked him. Understand the struggle it has been for him recovering from a stroke, and think it's great that ESPN has allowed him to stick around as long as they have.

But it's time to ride off into the sunset.

Head gear pick at the end wouldn't be the same without him, if they even keep doing it once he leaves. But I think they'll try to keep him part of the show long as it's possible.

I dunno, his slip-up a year or two ago when he said "eff it" live on the air when making his pick and choosing the head gear was absolutely hilarious. That alone was enough to buy him a few more years on Game Day in my eyes.

Did you notice him forgetting Desmond Howard's first name? It was awkward. I admire him sticking around, and he does well considering the circumstances. But is obvious he struggles sometimes.

He is obviously not what he was, but they will keep wheeling him out there as long as they do the headgear thing. I think of DickieV the same way, He needed to ride off in the sunset as well
