Saw that Iowa has about 8 duals on BTN. Why the discrepancy? You would think PSU would be a better ratings draw than Iowa so disappointed we will only get to see the Lions on TV 4 times this season prior the the B10 conference tournament.

B1G wrestling team appearances this season on BTN:

Iowa - 8
Minnesota - 5
Penn State - 4
Ohio State - 4
Wisconsin - 4
Nebraska - 4
Illinois - 3
Michigan - 3
Purdue - 2
Michigan State - 2
Rutgers - 2
Northwestern - 2
Indiana - 1
Maryland - 1

It does seem rather uneven. Those programs with 1 or 2 appearances are probably even more disappointed. Part of why Iowa likely has more is that they have 2 non-conference matches on the BTN slate (Iowa State and Oklahoma State). Nebraska has a meet with Arizona State on the BTN slate. Those 3 matches are the only duals BTN is broadcasting that do not involve 2 B1G teams.

Do you think it could be a business decision by the Big Ten?
The B1G knows how rabid the PSU fan base has become, so they put them on B1G+ to realize that additional revenue.

I don't like to make assumptions I don't know anything about but certainly can't rule that out as a possibility.

I would be one of those who subscribes just for Penn State sports and to only watch wrestling. If that is their (unstated) goal, then they have at least one.
I like a lot of college sport. Big+ is my most used streaming service.
Fall. F. Hockey , WVB, football replay.
Winter. Wrestling. Maybe a PSU b-ball game.
Spring, baseball, softball, W. Lax

I believe the match with Oregon State is being shown on ESPNU. Is that correct? Apologies if already mentioned.

Looks like the PSU-OSU dual will be on ESPNU according to the PSU sports website.
