Think he'll be more of a Miggins type player, seeing time as a hand in the dirt DE.

He's a great player. I met him at one of the tours of Commonwealth Stadium. He was walking around with Marrow. He's a big guy. 6'5" 285-300.. He made Marrow look small.

Brett Beilema is trying to persuade him to Arkansas but I don't think Marrow will allow that.

I think now is a good time to realize how important of a recruit Hoskins is and hope that our staff is planning on signing a few more DTs (perhaps another Juco?).

We have landed at least one every year under Stoops, I think.

Yeah, the problem is not recruiting Jucos, it is the problems we have had landing 4-5 year players. Looney and Cross (I think) were both pursued late in last year's recruiting run. We have lost DTs late. Had them not qualify. And, then, losing Meant? It has to be a frustrating subject for the coaches.

I hope this translates to SEc in his first year here. A lot of juco's take a year to adapt. Tate Leavitt currently being 1 example.

That would be nice, our entire defense fell apart after Melvin got hurt last year. We had Auburn on the ropes, Melvin goes down, we get smoked the rest of the way the whole year. If we had kept him healthy I think we beat Auburn, beat Vandy, and maybe close out the Cards last year and finish 8-4. Would have been a much needed boost for recruiting.
