I am refraining about talking about the obvious mistake we made in a coaching hire, but as far as the sound system. The same system that is at Pisgah was going to be purchased and donated by a former Tuscola graduate. I was going to do the sound, but Tuscola was more concerned with the Woodlands Baptist Church running the press box and our services were not needed. If you guys actually knew how bad The Hill has been mismanaged you would be astounded. Frankly, I will keep this clean, it is obvious no one gives a crap anymore, parents, coaches, administration and most of the community. I have always said this, Pisgah does not allow this stuff to happen. Hopefully the golf team is competitive this year, and I mean this in the most positive way. Our most competent coach is the Cross-Country coach, Will Norris, as he ran for the 11-time National Championship winning Arkansas Razorbacks. He is so over qualified to coach high school it is sick. They need to make him the track coach. Rant over.
People still care here Bama. But they have no voice.
Rest was spot on.

Agree with most of that. But doesn't say much about your offense if you could only muster 14. But yes we were horrible lackluster in every way. Downright embarrassing.
Dude did you just fall off the turnip truck? 23 first downs and 378 total yards... That's NFL stats right there.

I want to recognize Jonathan Smart #61 for Tuscola. That kid played his tail off and had an excellent game. Numerous tackles and at least 3 TFL's. We need a lot more like him.

Congratulations Bears. I will gladly eat my crow for now, but this season is still very young. I still believe we can finish near the top of our conference. Reynolds is still the top team, but West Henderson seems to be the only other team I feel we may not be able to beat. Our coaching staff will get us going.

You might beat Enka .That North Buncombe team that you was telling us how bad they were will beat Tuscola. You had four first downs last night .

On a happier note heard the Tuscola moms served the team snow cones after the game !
Don't know about that but the moms did buy them armbands with the initials JAC hidden on the inside so the head coach couldn't see it.

I wonder if all those yards PHS got were due to the fact they had the ball most of the night due to a (IMO) historic lack of offense on Tuscola's part rather than the defensive effort? I dont remember a more stillborn offense from THS. So utterly predictable, so obviously unwilling to even attempt a pass downfield, it didnt take PHS long to realize this, and it wont take other teams long either. It sure appears THS is running an offense not suited to the type of athlete currently at Tuscola. (and apparently to the coaching staff who are calling the plays.) Might consider a return to the double wing. Without offense intended to the current coaching staff, Pursley was right. There is a reason less talented teams use it...Because it is effective.

I thought that was one of the best officiating crew we have seen all year.I like to see them let the kids play without all those flags.

Pisgah Bears, please correct me if I am wrong, but NB has not beaten anyone with any significant value. Patton, Madison, and Avery? Please. I certainly do not think the others will be easy, but I do believe we can win. We just need to get some offense going, and I feel confident the coaching staff will do so.

4 first downs and 46 total yards! Ohhh yeah, I'd feel real confident in that coaching staff to turn things around. Lol. Make no mistake that pitiful showing last night had a whole lot more to do with coaching than it did with players. I know it was just the 2nd game of the season, but I would be demanding change right now if I was a mountie. It was that bad! And, if you seen it then you know it was as well.

Are you on the staff or have a family member on the staff? Just curious.

Not at all, but we did win 8 games last season with the same staff! We have played 2 tough opponents, and I agree that we are not posting great statistical offensive numbers. We just need a win to get the train rolling!

First we have to move the ball. And second ,place said ball into the endzone. Gonna take more than 4 plays..
Chappel was setting his watch to what was next..

It’s not beyond comprehension that enka defeats tuscola this week! Just the thought of that statement shows what shape your football program is in. Just the facts

For starters, I agree we are struggling offensively. In fairness, Rhea Co. and yes Pisgah have great defenses! However, there is no chance NB beats us in our house, especially with ba leading them! Again, who have they played? I disagree with some of my fellow Tuscola posters on some issues, but I'm certain we all agree on this. The last time they came over here was a total dismantling of a pathetically ill prepared group of young men. I had my belly full of that for 2 seasons! Rant over. We will be prepared for Enka!

And this regime hasn’t soured your stomach in 13 games? Must have started on Prilosec after ba left ! If forced to choose between either or you take ba anyday. Common sense.
