It's hard for the average fan like me to imagine the amount of work that goes into a game like this. I went to the game in 2016 and it was a great game day experience. I got there about 5:15 and had to search for a place to sit once I got in the gate. I sat next to some fans of the Pisgah Bears and they were extremely nice to me and my wife. I have been around high school football most of my life in some capacity (player, fan, announcer, clock operator) and the game that I went to was how I would like to see it all the time but we are in different times now. It was standing room only and the atmosphere was second to none. The game may or may not have conference or state title implications every year but to the fans in Haywood County, that doesn't matter. They are there to cheer for their beloved Bears or Mountaineers come hell or high water. This game is something the kids that play in it can tell their children and grandchildren about.

If you haven't ever been to this rivalry game, then I encourage you to take a Friday off from your regular team if you must and go. It was a lot of fun and I didn't have a dog in the fight.

It’s a great read. Burns has played at both schools in the playoffs and I know people from both schools but I’ve never seen the schools play each other. This would definitely be a fun one to see. I would want to go to one at each school because I would want to support each school’s athletic department. (Especially the 50/50)!

It depends on who we're playing.Just guessing I would say between 3 and five thousand at Pisgah ,Tuscola not that many.In two weeks Pisgah plays Mountain Heritage at Canton, if good weather between 8-10 thousand.

8 to 10 thousand. Might be a little bit of a stretch
