That's the only thing I hate about basketball. You can play someone and they just hit every damn shot. And there's nothing you can do. You don't really see that kind of thing in other sports.

Very true. It’s why the NCAA Tournament is honestly the worst way to crown a champ.
It’s hard to do that in football. If you’re bigger, faster, and stronger then it’s hard to stop that which is why there’s not much parity in college football.
Baseball is the closest thing to basketball where a pitcher just has an off day and anyone can get beat.
At least they made it somewhat respectable after a disastrous first half (early second half). Missing the front end of 1-and1s twice down the stretch sealed the doom.
I'm happy by the fight the team showed in the 2nd half. They could've easily gave up and lost by 30+.
One positive thing from tonight...it doesn't appear shooting will be any issue like we all thought it would be. If this game is any indication.

I guess I just disagree. I don't see anything respectable about getting blown out by a UL team that doesn't have a talent advantage on us, after we broke the bank to go out and get veteran/tough "dawgs"...

8 points is not a blow out. No surprise either this early in the season. The team hasn't had time to gel yet. Give it time. I can give many examples of great UK teams getting beat in November.
We also still don't have JQ. Sounds like he will be playing soon though.

What a bad day. UK loses to the birds. My 16-year old furnace had a crack in the heat exchanger, filled my house with smoke and carbon monoxide. House full of really fine firemen and firewomen. Pretty woman with an incredible amount of hubris and a teenage lexicon. As to Mandumi, he is not the first to lie and offer craziness to the “people.” We all saw it in high school when some kid said he would turn the water fountains into soda fountains or something ridiculously similar. People are fools and they will reap the angst of their foolishness. It is hard to predict good things for NYC over the next 4 years.
Not just lose, but almost run off the court. My biggest concern by far with Pope is roster. I voiced my concern in the offseason when i saw the people he selected. Not only did we pay a fortune, but Pope chose all role players.
