I like your optimism my friend but don’t do this to yourself.Hopefully we haven't heard anything because Mitch is negotiating with Stoops and his buyout. Because if he was 100% coming back...why wouldn't Mitch have announced it this morning or last night?
It was reported last night that the Dodgers reached an agreement in principle with him on a contract that will pay him 44 million total over the next 5 years and a two year option after that. Why take the chance however small, that another team could improve?![]()

I don't think Lane Kiffin is "capable" of even considering the possibility that he might have made a mistake at one time or another in his life.
that said, it does seem like a lateral move.*
*Just looked, and was surprised to find that LSU has a considerably larger athletic budget (220 million) than Ole Miss (157 million)
While that may be true it’s completely irrelevant in today’s college landscape. The only thing that matters is NIL money.
LSU told Kiffin he would have $25 million in NIL money available which is more than Ole Miss. However…Ole Miss said they would match that.
If both programs have $25 million at their disposal for NIL money then they are on equal footing as far as recruiting goes. Because that is all that matters to the 5 stars & 4 stars.
With that in mind, I think it’s a bad move for Kiffin to go to LSU. If he doesn’t have them in the playoffs in 2-3 years…they will move on. Ole Miss isn’t going to fire him ever…short of some kind of scandal.
I know that LSU is offering more money in salary/bonuses…but Kiffin has plenty of money and the difference isn’t that great. The reason he is leaving is because he is chasing a Natty. I think he has just as good a chance to get one at Ole Miss in today’s landscape (NIL & transfer portal)…with much less pressure & much more job security.
Prediction: Kiffin doesn’t last 4 seasons at LSU
I was just telling my wife that the weather is not the reason. She is realizing that the UK's form of government is not conducive to her mouthy lifestyle. Plus, she sees the problems they are having with immigrants and the crimes being committed and wants to leave but would not ever make that known as her actual excuse.
Let me get in front of this vehicle and push up against it while running backwards. With a mask on hahaha
NetCat doesn’t actually watch games. He just sits back bitching that UK basketball is the reason UK Football sucks. He’s a totally rational individual. You saw no improvement in TE utilization?

I don't understand it. I truly don't. This is the same program that fired Coach O less than two years after they went 15-0 and won a national championship.I think Lane Kiffin is gonna regret leaving for LSU. Assuming the reports are true.
sumrall to uf ... dammit
It's crazy how irrelevant Florida has been post Tim Tebow. We could have easily had him a couple years ago. Maybe could have had him if the job was open last year.
If the history of UK football tells us anything, he is likely to be incredibly successful down there just cause it will cause us pain. Hell he will probably win a national title in 4 or 5 years haha.

Outside the LV game, check out the game thread posts.NetCat doesn’t actually watch games.
No, it's the money diverted to hoops that hurts football. Takes some kind of stupid to do starve the goose. He just sits back bitching that UK basketball is the reason UK Football sucks.
Check.He’s a totally rational individual.
Compare that with UK since Stoops was hired. Looks better at FL than UK to me. Not that I watch games or care. It's crazy how irrelevant Florida has been post Tim Tebow.

UF has 92 wins and UK has 82 wins since 2013, so less than +1 per year. UF had 6 losing seasons, while UK had 5. Which one is "better"?Compare that with UK since Stoops was hired. Looks better at FL than UK to me. Not that I watch games or care.

Need the clown to confirm. Is 92 more than 82?UF has 92 wins and UK has 82 wins since 2013, so less than +1 per year. UF had 6 losing seasons, while UK had 5. Which one is "better"?
Also consider that UK started at MAC talent from 2012, while UF was barely removed from multiple national titles.
Thanks for the effort confirming what I wrote.UF has 92 wins and UK has 82 wins since 2013, so less than +1 per year. UF had 6 losing seasons, while UK had 5. Which one is "better"?

Before Spurrier, Florida was a winnable game here or there. Fun fact: only two sec teams have ever gone winless (0-11). South Carolina and Florida. It's crazy how irrelevant Florida has been post Tim Tebow.

Anyone else used to watch Alan Partridge. I'd forgotten how funny Mid Morning Matters was.
