We overwhelmingly have the best fans in football, we've put up with a lot. But if you can't get behind the team now, I just don't believe you want to see this program succeed.

We need a rocking Commonwealth on Saturday to lead this team to victory!

I really hope this sad sack Darryl character posts here. He called the coach yellow belly because he didn't take his call(even though he is not personally manning the phone line...idiot)

wow a call-in show full of entitled fans. Wow, tickets have gone up. They sell advertising for the parking lots. Boo hoo.

Who are these fans? Tickets still one of lowest in SEC. Grow a pair fellas

$60 for uppers is a lot, don't care who you're comparing to. Tickets have gotten a lot more expensive over the last 10 years and it definitely is a part of why fewer tickets are sold (along with easy access to games on TV). Twenty years ago you could get a $20 ticket (which would be $30 now with inflation) or listen on radio/watch tape delay.

not really. You can also get lowers for that as well. $60 to see a normally good GA team under the lights is not what I would call some outrageous amount. I'm sure even at $50 you'd think it's too much.

Anytime an organization invests in their product, that expense is passed on to the consumer. That's just how the world works. People want a better program but whine about having to pay for that investment, as if it just magically happens from some money tree out there.

I go to the games. I'm telling you it's an indisputable fact of economics that when the price of something goes up by a significant amount, demand for that product goes down. Especially when alternatives to that product exist. The price has gone way up at the same time that the alternative has gotten more attractive. A lot of people are going to decide to save that money and stay home.

About 1/4 of the way up the upper level at midfield is the best seat in the house. You can see everything from a great angle and barely have to turn your head.
I disagree, I would say about the first 5 rows upstairs are the best seats in the house [winking]. It's all about perception and most people aren't ever going to choose an upper level seat over a lower if they have a choice.

$60 uppers are ridiculous. I use offer code or just show up at CWS and get them for $10 bucks right before the game.

The very top is the best seat. You can stand and stretch your arms out along the top of the wall. My favorite place to be. Worth $30

I remember back in my day season tickets were $90 dollars and you could buy three pairs of blue jeans for $10 and the bleachers were uphill both ways!

On the subject of Darryl. When he called Stoops show I assumed he was a Louisville fan.

So rude. Seriously, screw that guy. I wouldn't take his call again.

He's obviously got some interpersonal relationship issues, but the fact we've got a few fans like Darryl IMO is a sign we're making a little progress towards becoming a real SEC program.

Because most SEC programs ... they are ALL Darryls.

I thought the call was hilarious. Most of his calls are. As are Chester's.

I wouldn't take either of them too serious. Just laugh at it for what it is, and move on.

Tickets:$60 x 6 x 4= $1,440
Parking:$20 x 6= $120
Food/Drink: $200

So yea I really like the idea of a promo/offer code. Or staying home with the nice flatscreen I purchased with that money. So anyone got an offer code.

Daryl feels he is a celebrity now thanks his promotion by KSR. Entitled is correct. Go away. Nobody especially the coach who you dogged and insulted wants to listen. What's worse Daryl you admitted you changed your name when you called. Cowardly. Just go away and take that stumbling awful speech with you.

Lol, yep all you have to do is listen or watch Finebaum's show to know that's the truth.

Nothing good comes cheap. I was one of the ones pissed about prices when we looked like a jv team the last couple years. But, start putting a product out there that looks
like an SEC team, and I'll gladly pay. It's all about results.

Would one of you kind fellas enlighten me as to what you are talking about?

If he didn't get on the show how do you all know he was insulting the coach?

He insulted the coach directly the last time he talked to Mark Stoops. Now granted this time he was allegedly going to apologize but Mark Stoops call screener didn't let him through so Darryl called into Matt Jones show to call Stoops a yellow bellied coward for not taking his call. You be the judge.

Either way fudge Darryl for thinking he's that important and for being silly enough to think Marks Stoops knew he was on hold.
