Vandy lost to Cleveland State, We lost to Akron. It happens all the time in basketball but only fools on this board over react and try to push their agenda.

What's he up to with this "make the NCAA's or you will be fired" agenda?

I am not saying that might not happen but I think you are spouting internet chatter . Scott and Rick get along just fine and I think if we don't get into the dance it might cause that to happen but Scott has never said that. Also, the BS on these boards about make the sweet sixteen or else is just that, BS. I am convinced we will make the dance and it won't matter to some of you, you'll find a reason to critcize no matter what we do. We have a great class coming in and with the class we signed last year, we have a bright future. I will be in N.Y, and I will make a point to talk with Scott about basketball and I am also going to try and see Greg Byrne to get his thoughts on the Arizona football job as he will be there with the basketball team.

and it's not "internet chatter"...if we dont make the NCAA Tourney, we will have a new coach next season. You know it- and I know it.<div>
</div><div>The Sweet 16 talk is people, like myself, thinking this team has the talent to get there. We all know we wont because of obvious reasons- but nobody is saying "Sweet 16 or coaching change"
<div>
</div><div>As far as Byrne- Hud is in his top 3, he's already laid some groundwork on him being the next coach. Hud is not sure he wants the job though. I'll know more in a couple weeks.</div> </div>

and he laughed. So I damn sure don't know it and neither do you because I doubt you've ever had a conversation with Scott. Stansbury knows what he needs to do and I have confidence he will do it. Your talent assesment is probably overblown but we all know that is your sick way of trying to make any success we have purely the players doings said:

Making the NIT one year and not making any postseason tournament at all is hardly good.
We havent been good enough for an invite to the NCAAs since '07-'08. You realize how long ago that is?

I expect us to get invited to the NCAAs more often than 1 in every 4 years. And if we dont even get an invite this year, that will be 1 in the last 5 seasons where we were good enough to receive an invite.

It has nothing to do with this assertion you made. I will guarantee you that Scott has made no statement that Stansbury will be fired if he doesn't make the dance. The fact I said I could understand how that could happen is my opinion but even then, it might not happen. Since I think we make the dance, it is a moot point at this time.

simply don't get on message boards and shoot the **** about their conversations. So I'm calling ******** on what you know and what you think you were told. You simply don't have that kind of access, paw paw. You need to come up with a new fantasy.

With you on a few things....

The world is round
We need oxygen to survive
Water covers a majority of the earth

One thing I don't agree with you on is our hoops program. As good of a guy as Rick may be or how big of buddies y'all are, our program is heading down the sh*itter and Rick is riding lead on the turd. It's run it's course and he needs to go. Discipline problems, terrible X and Os, and lack of leadership make our team impossible to stomach. Its over. He needs to go. Move on. Let it go. Take the blinders off. New direction. April.
