Get a significant other.
Al has been here 22 years and change and only has 36 thousand posts but you tell him to get a significant other? Al travels to away games and multiple a year and puts his money where his heart is NIL. The man has a life outside of this message board. Get a significant other should be reserved for the losers who have 160 to 200 thousand posts in less time. Not the guy who really bleeds red donates his time and money not just opinions.

Are you identifying yourself as Al's life partner because no one else would know these details?

They are not opinions.
They are trolling fantasies of a purportedly attention-starved person that get multiple grabs on Message Board Geniuses, which is likely his end goal. It's old and tired.

Then you’re not paying attention. Al shares this with you geezers when he does it. He advocates for Rutgers with his money unlike you with just your mouth.

Attention starved means time spent and post count. It’s all there for everyone to see.

No it doesn't.

Many MEANINGFUL conversations about Rutgers athletics and other topics of interest are had here, including weather, lawn care, local sports teams, advice on a variety of things. It's called a community. I respect @rutgersal 's fandom, but he crosses the line from fandom to delusion and/or trolling with a large majority of his posts. In the end, it invites mockery of our fans and this board.

Well the latter part needs everyone's support even if it's a $25 one time donation.
I agree to a degree. But some of us have money allocated/committed elsewhere for the coming years. Only have a certain budget for RU athletics donations, as we donate to many other causes/missions.

Mockery? Lol no one cares about a message board outside of the people in it. You are not important and I am not either
Your bored that’s why it’s a hobby and a multiple hours day thing for you.

Al makes so many predictions and none of them are ever right. You would think if you make enough predictions at least a small number would be correct--through sheer luck or volume--but...no.

Old and tired? Did someone just call me?
not you, but Message Board Geniuses being posted here for any reason does get old and tiring
As for : "QB Surace is going to lead us to the Rose Bowl "
I hope someone does in our lifetimes 🙂

Enough people say nice things about @rutgersal that he is evidently not a troll. Let's just say that he is very optimistic and so he counteracts the negativism on the board. His optimism seems to survive any counterargument, so there really is no point debating him. Let's just hope he's right.
I look upon Al as a small pool of optimism ( overly optimistic at that) when the sea seems to be filled with waves of negativity.
Al has a way to make bad things look good and problems within the program changed into ways to move forward.
Right now the QB situation looks like it might be a problem, Al just suggested that the cure for that is here and expect good things

These threads are unarguably preposterous. But they’re also harmless.

As for them being efforts at attention-grabbing, all posts on internet forums are an effort to grab attention. Nobody posts something hoping nobody gives it attention or else they wouldn’t post at all.

And as for the reaction of people outside our little RUFB online community, why should we care what they think? I sure don’t.

The negativity, however, is based off years and years--and years--of bad play. It's more like realism. The optimism is usually so off as to be absurd. If there's reason for optimism, great. If there isn't, it's pointless to act like there is. It doesn't make things better. In fact, it blinds some people to ugly reality (ie. The coach is not living up to promises)

Al also talks out of both sides of his mouth. In one thread, everything's coming up roses! In another, it sucks because the fans don't give enough, which is hardly optimistic or positive. It can't be both.

It is a message board which caters to our Rutgers fanbase. Who really cares what other schools think about rutgersal’s postings ? Truthfully we don’t have to do much in order to have other fanbases ridicule or mock Rutgers sports. By our yearly records we certainly haven’t helped raise the status level. Yes, rutgersal posts things you don’t agree with or it bothers you personally so what. Does it cause you or anyone here personal harm? NO …it does not . Let the man be… Nobody should doubt his loyalty to his alma mater. We needed more like him way back when. The outrageous part of knocking his postings is thinking it’s ok to do so. Keep posting rutgersal… there are many who find it crazy but also typical of millions of sports enthusiasts in college football.

Be happy that we may actually have or will have some semblance of a QB room. Last one I remember was having Nova and was it Chase? At least most knew we could score points. Now D was another hit n miss.

Future looks good as of now. I hope that Wimsat does his thing and improves that QB room this year.

There are a 100 other threads for you to wallow in your own self inflicted misery.
Schiano said he came back to win a National Championship, and repeated this motivation in his recent video. I believe him, and believe he is on the trajectory to do so. The defense is significantly better from when he arrived. The offense needs work and we all know that.

That you lack faith is not our problem. This thread is the happy space for true believers.
