With our middle fingers in the air at the pollsters. That will be our chance to be taken seriously on the national radar early on.
we beat 2 lightly regarded teams both by single digits. They aren't looking to see that we were without Moultrie and Bryant against FAU and played in a pretty tough road environment in Detroit. All they see is we won by 7 and 5 points respectively in games that came right down to the wire against teams that most people think we should have beaten rather handily. Beat Baylor in Texas and we will definitely open some eyes.
Polls are worthless in basketball. RPI is all that matters.
And on side note, the AP poll is worthless in football too. You should have no reason to ever consider the AP poll for anything. It is a worthless poll in all major sports, and means nothing.

As the teams we've beaten continue to lose, there's not much that is all that impressive on our resume other than the fact that we've simply taken care of business. I think our record deserves a Top 20 ranking, but you're talking about elite teams once you get into the Top 15 realm. I don't think we've proven that we are one quite yet.
