Funny thing is, if you’re 40 and up, all of those shows mentioned was on your TV set growing up. My grandma or mom would have Beverly Hillbillies on, Price is Right, the soaps, Bonanza, all of that, a bit of nostalgia for ole LA. Okay, back to football.:)

People act like those 2nd and 3rd stringers were just supposed to take a knee the last 3 quarters and not get to play hard after practicing hard all week.... Thats the shame of this all.

Looking at box score I would only consider 1 TD scored by a 2nd or 3rd string player. Maybe numbers are low this year but I’m sure we could’ve put someone other than Pass back to catch a punt.

You kids might be a little young to remember when TV arrived. In 1949 or so WFMY TV Channel 2 in Greensboro went on the air. My grandpa bought what passed for a TV then and it was amazing to watch. Pretty soon The Lone Ranger aired at 5 pm. My bother and I would go to grandpa's and watch in total awe.

Things were a little different back then. My granddaughters simply cannot relate to those days.

Just so I have this straight. There are Reidsville fans who come here to check out the box score against some team called Mcmichael?? Why would you even need to check it?
