Lionel is a good back he was the offensive mvp in the state championship game I think. Davis seems like a really good power back, like a Hammock or rankin back.

I've seen Reidsville play 3 strait years and they do not beat there selfs with turnovers and penalties .and they have one of the very best coaches in the state I don't know if they get any transfers or not but as long as coach Teague is there they will be one of the too 2a teams ever year last couple of years talent wise Readsville was down Just a little to what talent they usually have, but they still played in the state champion game both years and last year there last 3 games they could very well lost one of those games ,but they did not have even one turnover or penilty that hurt them .I thought for sure Brevard had them beat in the western finals but Brevard turned the ball over going in to score late in he 3rd quarter to go up by I belive 17 points. but Readsville found a way to win. Readsville is one tough football team they are tough as hell on defence and they have a balanced offence and the sportsmanship they show is what impressed me the most about them ever through they beat my team My Heritage last 3 years in the playoffs. I got a lot of respect for how they play the game also they have some of the best fans on this forum. It would not surprise me one bit to see them win it all again this year more than likely they will .anybody on here that thinks Reidsville is a dirty program that will do any thing to win should spend a little time watching them play most years there BACK ups could beat most teams ..not thats just my opinion..
This is pretty interesting, though, all these transfers. I remember a few years ago The Mule once posted that one of UNC’s coaches told him that y’all had a better recruiting year than they did. I also remember a thread in recent years about a store being basically the recruiting headquarters , the elders got that thread locked with the quickness.
Quarterback Tanner Wilson, and the quarterback in 2014 were both from Virginia, right? From the outside looking in, the two this year looks to benefit both the football and basketball teams. They happened to be great hoopers who also excel in football. Thought they may have played some AAU with Pass or something, they are friends of his, and was rallying around his tragic situation. I know y’all won’t give a damn, and you shouldn’t, but if y’all win it all, especially in hoops, that narrative is going to be used against you by some.

Transfer from Burlington Cummings this year is Reidsville native. Moved to Burlington in grammar grades and has moved back home.
Reidsville is always up to something stupid according to rumors. Best one ever was when we had a quarterback living in the basement at McDonalds.
I saw Strange is listed as a linebacker. Is he Trell’s replacement?
Strange isn’t starting as of right now. Just came back from the scrimmage.
He’s new, not as many practices as the others, can’t just put him right in there, gotta be smooth in transitioning him into that position.
This “transfer” talk is so funny, if all the kids that Actually resided in Reidsville’s district actually attended their designated school, Reidsville would be 3A and not small 2A bordering on 1A!

Maybe one of his parents got a job in Reidsville. You must not keep up with Reidsville to much our QB a couple of years ago played at Southern Guilford and transferred to Rams his senior season and lead Rams to State Championship
Funny you don’t even know his name just the kid. You sound like a Reidsville hater. These kids in Reidsville come up from pee wee ball, middle school & jv home bred.
Check out Maxpreps final rankings for Reidsville last year and then look at this year. They won the State title last year as you know but was only ranked in 700’s,now this year I think 336 and 9th in State all classes #1 in 2A. If we get transfers they still have to make our team.

Transfers, who cares? It happens all over the country. Reidsville does not call them, they call Reidsville and every other successful program. Parents want to give their child the best opportunity to play for a winning program no matter the sport. Nobody complains when our baseball or softball players leave Reidsville to play elsewhere. Their parents are also looking for a situation that better suits what they are looking for. So quit crying and start your program from the rec league like Reidsville's former players have done.
There was a kid sitting on the medical table that they told me transferred in. He also is supposed to be pretty good at basketball too. I don't know his name though but some of the players on the sideline told me he just transferred in. He was wearing number 11 I think.

Strange from my own 2 eyes yesterday was the best linebacker that reidsville has. If he is out for the whole season it’s gonna be a huge bummer for the rams.
He could not scrimmage at Thomasville because he had not gotten enough practices in to qualify for contact.
Well, you can come out to Community Stadium at 6 pm Tuesday night and decide for yourself as the Rams scrimmage defending 4A Champions East Forsyth and a top five rated preseason 4A/AA team.

Starters were fine. The depth of the team was the question. We have depth at the skill positions. Not much on the lines. One lineman wasn’t playing though.
I wish we had east Forsyth on the regular season schedule
