Will Rockingham Co. ever be good at football? This matchup is so one sided and boring. Reidsville doesn't even break a sweat spanking these guys year in and year out.
Reidsville and Rockingham Co. have played each other 43 times...….Reidsville 41 Wins Rockingham Co. 2 (RC won over RSH 1988 and 1989)……...…..Since the fall of 1977 (the first year of Rockingham Co. High School football) the Cougar overall record in football is 133 Wins 323 Losses, 2 Ties...…..in that same time span Reidsville is 421 Wins, 124 Losses..
Rockingham had a good team in 2012 that nearly beat the rams. The 2015 Rockingham team nearly pulled the upset too.

No they won’t ever be good in football anytime soon. To many politics over there. Politics kill programs. Reidsville has had 2 QB’s to lead them to state championships that started out at Rockingham Middle, That would have ended up playing receiver or other positions at Rockingham high school had they not transferred. They also lost the best coach they ever had ( former Princeton High School Coach) due to politics. Politics he tried to rid the school of and a AD that worked against him.

The AD at Rockingham is a miserable person and definitely plays the politic and "daddy ball" game.
