That's what is so crazy about the suspension. The rule he's being suspended over isn't even a rule as of this year. But because he played against pros while the rule did exist, he gets this "slap on the wrist".

File as huge a lawsuit as possible (breach of contract), announce it right before out biggest (read: ESPN national broadcast) game of the year, forcing them to talk about it.

I normally am all about sticking it to the man, but there is little to no chance of that working and it will certainly not make them stop @%+%%#! us over. In fact, they'll be more inclined to %!%* us over. We are Mississippi State. They do not like us. They do not want us to succeed on any level that interferes with the success of one of their cash cows. The NCAA answers to no one but themselves. Rules can be ignored or rewritten at any time.
