How much do you plan to watch?
What are the can't-miss events for you?
Any countries other than USA you secretly root for?

Lots.

Combat sports mostly...tae kwon do, judo, wrestling, boxing. Strangely obsessed with modern pentathlon. Will watch lots of soccer too. Some field hockey when Holland's female team plays.

Brazil for men's soccer

Ditto on the combat sports. The freestyle wrestling and judo especially.

We generally watch anything on, esp if there's a chance a Merican might medal. Most prime time sports are scheduled accordingly and wife and kids and I will watch it all.

I love the Olympics. Never get all that excited about the games until they start. Then I end up getting totally sucked in. Will watch a lot of it. The one thing I don't watch will be basketball. I just don't see the point in watching a group of the best players in the world dominate repeatedly. Almost feels like the US is cheating.
