RIP Casey Medlin Thomasville Legend

Casey Medlin, Thomasville Legend has died at the age of 105. Casey was the scoreboard/clock operator at Cushwa Stadium for 57 consecutive years.

Such an icon in our community! To see Casey climb those steps to the press box at over 100 was an inspiration every Friday. He and Warren King are giants in Bulldog history.

Danny is his son.

They both have contributed mightily to Thomasville football. Danny was assistant to Allen Brown and athletic director at the middle school.

And a state champion wrestler, all ACC offensive lineman at state, and member of the Superbowl champion Raiders. I don't remember if he was on Tville's WNCHS championship team.

Danny was a sophomore on the 1964 championship team. In those days, it was unusual for sophomores to even dress for varsity games and Danny played very little that year. He made up for it the next two years.
